The station has recently refurbished. It's for everything you need. Cheap car wash, vacuum, subway, huge grocery shop Spar, costa coffee express and even a picnic area.

Got scammed. Pump said it gave £2.50 worth of diesel and wouldn't go any higher than that. Drove the car and the digital reading stayed the exact same. Not a single mile increase. Worker inside said they can't do anything about it.

If you need the toilet, just hold it and go to the Morrisons down the road. All the toilets were blocked full of toilet roll with urine stains on the toilet seat. Clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There's probably a lot of diseases festering in those toilets.

Don’t use this place often but after today’s experience I will never use it again.
Running very low on fuel on my motorbike on the way home today so decided to stop here to grab a couple of litres.
Got to the pump and there are massive signs everywhere, not requesting motorcyclists remove their helmets . Ohh no not that at all,, motorcyclists are required to enter the store and prove they can pay before the pump will be activated.. Never even got off the bike.
Disgusting attitude and I won’t be back..

Horrible, AVOID. Staff wasn't very nice. The Services sign on the motorway took us to this petrol station. Usually I never had a problem with them.
I really needed a toilet and I was nearly bursting and explained the staff that I was coming from a long trip. I wasn't allowed in, no matter what. I asked to speak to a manager, but I was told that he is out at the moment.
THERE WAS NO SIGN THAT THE TOILET IS NOT OPEN, I WOULDN'T GO STRAIGHT THERE, I presume is just marketing to attract customers to buy fuel. I was told to drive to Morrisons.
I am going on holiday and left with a massive headache and disappointment. I really thought that you have the highest standards, but, NO !

This was by far the worst services I have ever stopped at. There was one disabled toilet, no other toilets apparent. This was dirty, which could have been bad luck, but I doubt it. All the disability aids such as handles were laying on the floor with one hanging off. Leading into the toilet equipment had been stacked up, so anyone with a wheel chair would not be able to get access. Quite a dangerous situation. The shop was OK but filled with stock cages and no sense of organisation.

I will not be stopping here again.

Be aware that although this services is a 'Shell' garage it is independent and chooses NOT to be part of the. SHELL go+ loyalty programme. Yes they will scan your app or card and display signs telling you about all the rewards but your visit will NOT count and you will not earn the rewards. I have contacted Shell who say they can't do anything except add my visits manually but this is pointless as when I actually get a reward I can't scan it and use it at this garage. Speak to staff they say speka to Shell, speak to Shell they say nothing they can do complete and utter rubbish. I had used Shell VPower for some years but not anymore.

AVOID!

Only reason for visit was LPG fill up. Because of the size of our motor home we blocked 2 sets of pumps while filling up. We were seriously verbally abused by a young local male who exhibited threatening behaviour. Note we had a 6 year old daughter who was very upset by this. AVOID this filling station . Not the fault of the staff but locals very threatening!!!!!!
