Esso Gravesend Service Station

Rude staff. Twice now we've been trying to buy bread, milk etc and have told to hurry up and pay, so that someone with fuel to pay for can come in. It's so incredibly rude I'm quite shocked that the staff would think it's ok to do this.

Esso have decided to only allow two people in this branch at a time, despite safe 2m distancing being possible for at least 6 people in the spacious shop. The way of dealing with the inevitable queue is not, apparently, to do it on a first come first served basis (like every other store that's limiting capacity at the moment). No, they just shout across the shop and tell you to hurry up. It's not even like we were hanging about, we'd been in there less than 5 minutes on both occasions! Why are the fuel purchasing customers more important than your regular locals?
It's appalling service and we're shopping elsewhere for our essentials AND our fuel now. If you don't want to be whinged at for doing your shopping in a shop then I suggest you go elsewhere too.

As l am a Disabled person l used the App to get help at the Esso Garage Old Road West Gravesend. I can't find anything negative to say about the service l received.The Gentleman who came to help was friendly and helpful even though l am Non-Verbal

I am going to brave the Garage Esso Gravesend for some milk from Spar Esso Gravesend Now this may sound silly or non important for most but this is the first time in a shop since the start of the pandemic in 2019. Got to the counter and admit i was nervous so might have been shaking a little but handed the milk over and asked if I could pay on card, once i did this she then looked blankly at me and asked what I had inside my "man bag" I was like erm excuse me? She CLEARLY thought I had stolen something?!! I asked if she was kidding and passed my bag over with my personal documentation from the solicitors. After rooting around inside when again looked blankly at me where I said " and this is the part where you apologise" Still a blank expression! I was a nervous wreck and thanks to Sharon who had kindly driven me and was waiting in the car, ~I would have had a full blown panic attack if not. So not a good start to the day!!! Rude staff, was she on some kind of power strip? Even when the Gormless manager came over he said absolutely NOTHING. Was this a sort of Racist action because I was a white guy? Who knows but this has now set me back yet again. Avoid going in unless you have to. Clearly so many bad comments about staff rudeness.

Good prices for fuel,, good service,,,, wine gums are a bit expensive..👍

The staff are amazing and the variety of shopping is great. Also 2 hot food take away places, brilliant.
