ESSO EG BIRCHES BRIDGE

Despite the fuel duty cut, this robbing bunch of (insert very strong expletive here) still have diesel at just shy of 191 a litre.
I work in Birmingham and prices there currently range from 171 to 185ish.
My usual petrol station was closed and I was on absolute vapours so put just enough in to see me through the day rather than give this place a penny more.

Very busy station. Also has Subway and Spar onsite. It's all very clean and impressive. The staff are very nice too. My only issue was driving in and out. It's a bit of a 'free for all' with no entry and exit, plus vans park over the entrance/ exit, so getting in and out is pretty dicey, onto what is already, a busy main road. Keep your witt's about you! 😩

Freindly staff. If you want a subway you may aswell book a room at the retirement living next door because you will be there a while.
Petrol station though I cannot fault, other than, no alcohol sold and fuel prices were high way before any others. Other than that, its a petrol station. Get on with it.

I only went to get 3 litres of petrol for my hedge trimmer, so no problem.

It's an ok place but the petrol is always expensive here.

Just to confirm I would be very wary of this petrol station, twice recently my family have been to put in Diesel. The first time my wife put £25 in. At the time we were in a hurry and it wasn't until we looked about 15 minuets later we realised we only got 54 miles, it was our fault we should have gone back but as i said we were in a hurry. She put in another £25 the following day at another station and got 240 miles. My daughter has been this morning put in £20 and it hasn't even moved the the needle , this time we have complained and I might as well have talked to a brick wall , they were very unprofessional and didn't want to know. Based on this I doubt very much we will get anywhere with our complaint but at least I've warned everyone else

Good friendly fuel station. Prices a little above average. There is a Subway situated on site and appropriate Covid-19 measures are in place. There is also a cashpoint on the forecourt.
