Sainsbury's Petrol Station

18 pumps here. Both diesel and unleaded.
Has a reasonable price car wash. Air and water for your radiator, washers and tyres are free of charge! Great fuel prices and very popular. Has a make your own Costa machine in there too.

Layout of entrance to pumps and the air/water service is cramped and awkward, requiring patience to use if anyone in front of you. Very odd choice of layout, when a 45-deg rotation relative to current may have been a lot smoother to use. Still, it's handy and competitive on prices.

Filled up with diesel, put air in my tyres for free.
Used the car wash and got some great customer service when the machine had a fault.

Closed before the closing time, last time I use this petrol station. Rude woman who closed early.

We only use this petrol station. It's often quite busy and you may have to queue. There is a small selection of good inside.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. After all the madness of 24/25 of September with petrol stations being drained by the masses, they received a delivery of fuel on the morning of the 26th. The organisation of the staff is incredible - they have people at the roundabout making sure people take the path they have carefully laid out so no one can cut in line. Once you make it through the queue, they have staff there showing you to an empty pump, eliminating any confusion or wondering if there's one free. We cannot give them enough praise for all their hard work. They are all keeping calm and having a laugh with the customers. Well done Sainsburys petrol station staff. You've handled this madness so well 😊🥰

I have tried so hard not to get wrapped up in this ⛽️ issue . I have been going to work for the pass three days in the red as unable to get fuel. I work in a hospital and I would have left it abandoned (safely if need be ) I had finished early today so I took the opportunity to sink or swim against my true beliefs .. Asda at Hyson green was bedlam.. and it felt far to stressful, So the drive to Arnold was my last hope x
I joined the queue begrudgingly because I was previously not going to sing to this charade .. but like most I need to go to work and going in the dark in the morning and returning, is already a depressing scenario. Well I must say with hand on heart what a well run organised feel safe situation done well . In and out within 45mins helpful happy and stress free staff . A huge applaud to all xx a huge thank you !!!! I can now relax enjoy my days off with the knowledge I can return to work in a timely safe fashion…

Fuel price is lower than other local garages they need to fix the pot holes in the car park
