It's a filling station, you can't make these exciting even if you tried. However, like the main store staff are always helpful and quick to ensure customers are served quickly. My only gripe is there is quite a deep recess as you approach the centre section of pumps and I've managed to scrape the bottom of our car bumper several times no matter how slowly I approach!

Very busy at peak times, not always the cheapest in the area and slow to get pumps up and running first thing in the morning. I have arrived after 6 am some mornings and left without fueling up due to pumps not being up and running. Their opening times state 6 am, they should be open and all pumps available for use at 6am. Disappointing

I bought fuel for my car or van. It was good fuel, as it made my car or van go. I paid by credit card, in the cashier shop. It was a very exciting experience, I would recommend to anyone who needs fuel for their car, van, bike or any internal combustion engine.

I recently visited this service station having read the excellent reviews and I was not disappointed.
Finding it however is difficult as there are no directional signs along the A48 or Coity Road this meant I often had to go around roundabouts three times and also do a U turn in Lidl.
Once there, one is immediately impressed by the layout and ease of entry. The imposing pillars guide you to the appropriate pumps which are well labelled. A handy hint is that the pipes are long enough to stretch so there is no need to ensure the petrol cap is on the same side as the nozzle, genius! A choice of payment methods are available but I decided on the Pay at Cashier option. Fuel is dispensed efficiently and it wasn't long before I had satisfied my tank.
The day I visited was dry but I was reassured that even in less favourable weather conditions the bespoke canopy would have protected me of any precipitation. Word of warning though that there is a gap of 3.5 steps between the canopy and kiosk so during heavy downpours I advise that one wears appropriate attire or simply use the Pay at Pump option.
The kiosk is a must visit on its own selling a huge selection of cold snacks, pharmaceutical items and motoring accessories. I couldn't resist the sandwich, crisp and drink deal for the ridiculously bargainous 300 British pennies. I recommend the roast beef and horseradish on white with an impressive range of emulsifiers included. At this price I can now do my weekly shop here for only £21. The layout conveniently places confectionary by the tills and thus I was able to feed my potential type 2 diabetes with a quickly acquired bag of liquorice allsorts as I queued.
The icing on the cake however were the weekly offers though and I managed to acquire a pair of pet grooming gloves of the "it's too good to be true" price of £5.99. I will definitely have to get a pet now as they worked so well smoothing hair and removing dead strands when I tested them later on my wife's back.
Staff service was simply superb, friendly and efficient; my payment was taken in under a minute (54 secs to be exact). That's ten minutes less than than it takes me to be served in my local and exactly the same as other similar places.
This oasis however is to be reviewed in context of its location. If you are thinking of visiting, it is surrounded by boutique shops such as Home Bargains and Halfords whilst there is a wide choice of independent quality restaurants within walking distance such as McDonalds and KFC. My advice therefore is go early and make a day of it.
I did not avail myself of the additional services on offer so can't comment but given the quality I experienced in all other aspects I assume the water and air pumps would provide most excellent products mainly water and air.
My only recommendation for improvement is that a small space is made available to purchase clothing items such as underpants and socks. If this can be achieved I have no need to be dragged around MacArthur Glen ever again.
Will definitely return.

Clean and tidy and some stock for drinks and sandwiches inside but mainly everyone uses the pay at pump option here as all the pumps have it.

The road to get in to this station is getting blocked when the traffic is bad in the area, on a busy Saturday and Sunday it’s horrendous to get in to it as the roundabouts are full and slow moving traffic, I’d advise use this on weekdays only.

The fuel prices are reducing thanks to the big four supermarkets reducing the price at the pump and the government subsidies, it’s a start , there is still more to be done.

Two miserable staff members today . I went to use my £3 voucher off fuel and was told you have to spend £15 on food to get the £3 😂 as if things aren't bad enough without tesco trying to scam me . I accrued these point through fuel he was corrected and I got my £3 off . Could see it grieved him to do it . Advice to you smile it really won't hurt. On the other hand I have met nice staff members but these two today 🤣 bless em look like they have had the life sucked out of them
