Service 10/10 friendly and warm people.
Pub environment was 10/10. Plenty of space with tables inside and outside.
Fish and chips was very good 8/10
Maple glazed pork belly 7.5/10

Deserts:
Apple crumble 9/10
Chocolate bomb 11/10. I cannot recommend it more. This desert is on another level!

Very nice indeed. The food was lovely and Jacqueline (hope I got her name right) was an amazing host.

Family lunch, three adults and a picky child.
Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The food was very good, starters and mains all perfectly cooked and well presented, the menu has something for everyone.

Drinks are well presented and sensibly priced.

I took my friend for lunch , the young waitress was very helpful, cleared and cleaned a table by the window in bar area for us. She moved a chair out of way for our wheelchair. She was very polite and cheerful, service was good, we had the posh fish finger sandwich and steak sandwich. Both were delicious. Prices reasonable.

Lovely food and lovely staff. First time and will be going again

Visited in a large group which is always a test for kitchen. We had an excellent meal. Service very efficient and pleasant. Decent range of beers. This pub is well recommended.

Absolutely stunning food with a compliment of fantastic staff.
Fillet steak was absolutely stunning after eating amazing chicken in chilli jam starter.
Partner had most amazing looking and tasting roast beef with starter of pan fried scollops.
Can't fault anything, looking forward to coming back as menu is also fantastic.

We went yesterday for lunch/dinner. Can’t say that the food was anything other than good and value for money.
However the service was not great, they were struggling to cope behind the bar and would only take food and drink orders there, no table service at all.
I get that pubs are struggling to hire staff but if you know you are struggling to serve people….we didn’t have our second drink until after our main course as we were waiting for service when the meals arrived- Is it appropriate to charge a 10% service charge when the customer has done the bulk of the fetching and carrying???
We will eat there again but will watch out for the service charge ( which should be optional and not included)
