The Farm House

Very busy on a Saturday lunch. Used to have a nice beer garden, now you get to sit in a gravel car park with benches. The food was good when it eventually came. The service too.
My gripe is that we weren't allowed to order drinks at the bar. Why not? So they could add an additional 12.5% to the bill as "gratuity" on all of our drinks, which honestly is a low blow and will stop me going back.
That and the coked-up golf boys and dirty wet floored toilets. For a £160 bill for 6, they'll be lucky to survive the impending recession.

Food was delicious. Backyard patio was a big plus. We went on a chilly night for work but we were not bothered as the booths had an overhead heater. Highly recommend to any tourists that want some quality food and service.

Visited for a preset Christmas lunch/dinner with my colleagues.

The decor upstairs is nice and quite festive. The chairs were a little awkward to get in and out of.

Service started a little slow paced but picked up as the meal progressed; potentially waiting for meals to be prepared. Staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional.

The food itself was delicious and served in reasonable portions.

A group of us visited the farmhouse for a long awaited catch up after work. I thought the service, food and atmosphere was first class and made the evening very enjoyable.

Just moved into the area and this was our first visit. Great service. Lovely staff. Very good food. Very accommodating with our young son and a relatively big group booking at late notice. Will definitely be back plenty more times

Great food, friendly service and lots of space inside, with more tables in the covered (and heated) seating area in the garden at the back. Pizza oven offers a wide range of options, at the time we visited there was a 2 for 1 offer on all pizzas on Sunday evenings so worked out to be great value. Great range of pub classics and desserts too. Good to see lots of locally sourced options on the menu.
