This is a lovely spot. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor dining areas. One under cover called the potting shed where reservations are required. There is a lawned area with benches for drinks only.

I had the rump steak medium rare and it was cooked that way. It was excellent. The pork tenderloin dish was nice, but could have been cooked a little less which would have made it more juicy. However two in the party had fish and chips. They both said it was awful. Loads of batter and not much fish. The fish was oily and dry and the chips overcooked.

The brownie dessert was delicious.

Service was good. Unfortunately just let down by the fish and chips.

Overall it was fine. Not too impressed with fresh fruit salad as it came with sorbet so I suppose I could have asked not to have it. Too squashed in a small dessert dish. Overpriced. Swordfish really good. Best I've ever had. Attentive service.

Visited here on a busy Sunday late afternoon. It was VERY busy, so chaotic. Food was good, but not without issues. We had the 2 courses for set price and the fishcake was all potato, zero fish. Roast was nice, very big, but good value. Sticky toffee pud was the best dessert.
Would visit again perhaps on a quieter night.

Great Sunday lunch here. Really nice place and friendly staff.

Had the ham hock to start, which was delicious accompanies by some tasty pickles and fresh toast.

Main was the roast pork belly, which was not too fatty and came with some nice fresh veg.

My partner had the roast beef, which was cooked just right, nicely pink.

Despite being full, the staff managed to find us a little table. We just had a small snack, my husband a chicken wrap & me, a beetroot, endive & goats cheese salad. Delicious. The pub was very busy but the staff were very attentive. Will definitely go back & have a proper meal. Need to book in advance for a proper table.

Nice food, tables and staff. Sat outside so cannot say what the atmosphere was like inside, however it was very busy which was probably the reason why our food took a long time and we were given another tables food!

We have been a few times from where we live in Wimbledon, sometimes with visiting friends etc, and never been disappointed. Very good food, all served with a smile. Good to have a dependable pub within sensible driving distance...
