Lovely pub in a lovely location. We had the lunch in the garden as we were passing on a walk around Clytha Castle. We had the ploughman's and they were excellent, great selection and all good quality.
The only drawback was the reception from the woman in charge, not very welcoming and it felt like they were doing us a favour allowing us to stop for lunch as we didn't book. Otherwise I'd recommend it.

Wonderful location and exterior, traditional 'but quirky' interior, good range of beers and ciders, and a reasonable menu. Dog friendly, with resident labs in attendance who are typically only too willing to hoover up any scraps that fall from the table! Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible.

Lovely place. Good beer. Didn't get chance to check out the food as we hadn't booked. Will do next time.

Disappointing as it looked nice off the main road. Dog friendly which is great but dog mess on the front seating area should be cleaned up. The inside needs a good clean and the staff could do with putting a smile on their faces. Food was nice but massively overpriced for what it was.

Very welcoming staff and locals. A great place for the dogs with plenty of land around for them to run. Food was really good and surpassed expectations. I would certainly return to try the rest of there menu. Best of all, there was a roaring log fire burning as we arrived.

The Clytha is our preferred place to drink, eat, meet up with likeminded friends.
The food is always amazing, and such value for money....we can take our dog......usually chat to other patrons.
Most comfortable, relaxed place to be.
