This is a stylish pub, which also offers accommodation. Food quality is clearly taken seriously here, and the dishes we ordered were of very high quality. My lamb meatballs (Moroccan, if I remember rightly) were fabulous. The staff were friendly and always on hand, and it is clean, light and airy inside. Would very happily go back here.

We visited Conwy and had lunch in The Erskine Arms. The food was amazing, it was tasty, fresh, well prepared and beautifully cooked. I highly recommend the lamb meatballs, it was the nicest dish I had while in Wales. The menu was really varied. The staff were very prompt and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable and there was a lovely atmosphere. Great value.

What a beautiful place! Popped in here by chance on our way back to Brighton and what a place. You'd never get this down south.. the place is so neat and tidy. Not a spec of dirt (even the toilets are clean!!). The staff are smart and very friendly and the food was perfect (I reccomend the Erskine Burger). Thank you for making the final end to our Welsh vaccination perfect.

Absolutely fantastic food and the staff are genuinely friendly and very welcoming, they're a credit to the place.

We stopped by having missed our train and they welcomed us, promising to deliver some food in time for us to catch our next. We spoke to a blonde lady (she works part time at the restaurant and is a civil servant in her day to day, please ensure she gets our thanks) who was very accommodating and took a real interest in us as customers.

The food was fantastic, the setting was beautiful. Highly recommended

Dined in here a year ago and the food especially the pie was excellent.
Came back and I commented that the chef probably hadn't changed as the pastry on this year's pie was exactly perfect as was last year and the style of carrot on the dish was identical.
My wife and I both had the Chicken, leek and cheese pie which were superb and we were attended to by a lovely efficient waitress.
However my dessert (I am a dessert nutter), was way way too sweet and the crunchy topping on the top was hard enough to break many a tooth along the way.
Don't get me wrong I can take very sweet but this was above and beyond.
The dessert was a Strawberry posset with chocolate crumb and pistachio, with a mint and herb dressing which was not noticeable.
The strawberry flavour was lost in the sweetness which was a shame as the idea in principle would be quite nice.
Will dine here again as atmosphere was conducive to a good night and the service pleasant and quick.

Lots of history and character. The rooms are warm and inviting. The decor is of a high standard and are very clean. Alicia and the rest of the staff are all very helpful and friendly which made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you! Will definitely return. The breakfast was excellent.

Been here a few times now and it's quickly become our staple visit whenever we stay in Conwy.

Great homely atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly excellent quality food.

Expect to pay gastropub prices but enjoy premium quality food for your money. Worth every penny.

Popped in with no reservation, ate in the bar section downstairs. I had the Erskine burger, my family had the steak and the fishfinger burger, and we had three pints of beer (including Neck Oil, my favourite!) It was pretty reasonable prices, a lovely atmosphere with log fires on the go and good service at the bar- even though it was really busy. One of the best pub options in Conwy I would say. Note that the bar section is down some steps so not accessible for wheelchairs.
