Horrible staff and especial that black doctor had very horrible attitude towards me today. That black doctor doesn't deserve to wear that uniform and to be in that position. I hope he will be dismissed. He doesn't have compassion and empathy towards patients. But I The staff are treat patients very badly and we wait hours and hours in A&E. The hospital look very dirty and very old. You do not deserve even one star. The horrible,.dirty and infected Stoke Mandeville hospital ever. People don't go there as you may die and they don't do anything. They are useless. Avoid this horrible and creappy hospital. Don't put your loved one there. All staff including the reception staff are horrible. Huoooooo🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😈😈😈😈😈😈😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡👿👿👿👿😩🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I have been treated at this hospital many times and have always found it to be good. Car parking could be better, but you can say that about every hospital in the country.
Very happy with the burn's unit staff and my treatment.

Having received surgery late Friday evening for an appendicitis I received excellent patient care from a nurse called Sarah from ward 16A . Checked up on me throughout Friday night into Saturday morning and throughout Saturday until I was discharged around 5pm . Nothing was too much for Sarah. Whilst the NHS may or may not be in the best shape , the staff who work for it from the cleaners to the doctors and surgeons do a fantastic job. Sarah epitomised this special willingness to care for others and is a credit to Stoke Mandeville and the NHS

Very bad experience, doctors in colourful uniforms flaying by without any significant destinations. We are here since 10:30 and now it’s almost 9:00. Literally every one that was here is still sitting in the same chairs. All we had is (who wants some pain relief??)
My husband had a heart attack but they can’t see to him as they don’t have any cardiac doctor and they are trying with high Wycombe but still no answer.
Look after your selves Aylesbury people, you have no medical care whatsoever

Good staff actions, well trained doctors, great at following procedures, fast and effective, very responsive to care for patients too. Stressed language and behaviour towards patients by some staff. Mental health Suport should be available for staff. More breaks should be available for staff, they only have a 30min break!

Eye clinic app…. Poor communication. Poor understanding on their half as to why I was there. What’s the point being told you have an appointment when they don’t stick to them?! The hospital is poor all round. They told me my eldest didn’t have glandular fever, was there overnight, bloods and drips given. My Dr called me checking to see if my eldest was ok as she has glandular fever…. I want told that but my Dr had all the letters saying she did yet I received nothing! A&E, what a joke, was sent in with my eldest via ambulance and she was an urgent enough case… she was!

Went to A&E with asthma exacerbation - bloods, X-rays etc - told chest infection, had nebuliser treatment, given meds and sent home. 1 week later back with chronic chest and back pain. Same diagnosis, morphine given for pain and more meds, sent home. 4 days on I was worse, taken to JR instead and admitted with Empyema, sepsis, stage 2 kidney disease and other issues. 3 months later after major surgery, 2 lots of chest drains, endless ct scans, X-rays and blood tests etc I went home. 10 days later readmitted to JR as empyena returned, another chest drain, drugs, daily bloods and xrays, finally sent home with mid line in situ, daily visits by hospital nurse to administer antibiotics and do obs. All during height of pandemic. Still suffering with after effects 2 years later. JR saved my life, Stoke Mandeville nearly killed me.

The whole thing is a joke. Went to the emergency department with an allergy, at 11pm and it's 8 am and we've got an allergy tablet that we've informed them that 2 allergy in the a few hours interval didn't work. So now at 8am after 3h waiting for blood tests results we were told that we'll get results when we'll get them. Like whoever comes to the ED might as well bring a uniform and find something to do as there will be plenty of time.

So an update. We've been seen by the doctor. Finally, at 9.30am and he gave us some tips in what measures to take in the event of the same thing to occur again. So I've changed my review from 1 star to 3.

Doctor and reception staff, staff overall was nice. Except that attitude nurse (I hope she'll end up waiting anywhere for 10h without any updates for the entire time, preferably night too, curious if she wouldn't be curious if what's happening). But 10h in the ED waiting with 0 updates even if you ask...
