I have been with this GP for the past year and a half and honestly I am unsure why I am still with them.

I have never had the misfortune of having to write a negative review, but sadly I feel it is important for consumers to get the most accurate information regarding the experiences of prior customers.

This has got to be the absolute worst "client-centred" experience I have ever seen. Reception staff have appalling manners and no respect for patients. They also hang up on you rather abruptly.

I have had multiple phone call consultations with my GP, and not once have they called me even within 15 minutes of the allocated time of the appointment. Their excuse was then that this is an "estimated time slot." But mathematically this makes no sense when the appointments only last about 5 minutes. I personally would recommend that the GP respects their clients time and schedule; just how we respect their time.

However, I must state that of my three COVID-19 vaccinations, one of the nurses was very kind and sensitive. Although this is still a rather weak ratio.

As I saw in another review I read, I fully respect that these staff must have their own issues going on in their personal lives, added to the stresses of working in this sector. Yet it still stands true that it is of maximal importance that the person being treated has the best experience possible.

I hope that I have been able to make a fair and accurate review regarding my perspective of visiting this GP

My son has started Foubdation course here. During his first term he was terribly sick from a takeaway dinner. He called the door today for a check up as he felt he couldn’t eat and had serious stomach pains. They lost his blood test. They redid the test but in the meantime gave him tablets for 3 months but the tablets did nothing. He’s wasting away. He was meant to have a check up but no one bothered to help arrange this. Then he tried again for another appointment. The doctor called him and asked him what the plan is… he’s 18years old!! He said he doesn’t know as he’s not the doctor so she asked him what he wanted. He replied - to get better - okay she said so she arranged for more tests He got one test back he thinks as it didn’t stipulate and said all clear. He’s in agony. The ext text he got was for him to collect birth control pills!! Hmm doesn’t fill me with confidence whether the text regarding hos blood test is his actual result. Nonetheless I’m absolutely shocked at the negligence and lack of care they have shown for my son. My Son is very ill and lost so much weight. Shocking doctors’ clinic- had too much precious shielding from “Covid”… and can’t cope with the overflow and backlog looks like to me…. They should be called in for questioning. I’m going to take this up formally.

Just left the surgery, I am so angry. I just want to do a simple ear syringing. And I have visited this place 4 times. And at the end it can’t be done at all. Every single time they will say no to you with an excuse to refuse the treatment.
I want to make as many complaints as possible on this place and I am going to leave this gp if it is possible.

I am a parent and have held back from posting this review as the GP’s are wonderful and helpful. Sadly the same can’t be said for some of the receptionist who are unhelpful and condesning and rude and don’t seem to think out of the box. Appreciate protocols are necessary but common sense is also necessary when a need arises. Perhaps as these students are youngsters they feel they can be spoken to as they wish. On a number of occasions a telephone appointment has been confirmed as a face to face and resulted in a wasted visit as it wasn’t made clear that it was T/c .
On a recent occasion the “Tenor “ wasn’t working and the patient has sat waiting only to find the GP had gone as she didn’t hear her being called.
After waiting to rebooked on arrival the appointment was a telephone call and it was pouring with rain and the patient had to stand out in the rain to take the telephkne call as apparently there wasn’t anywhere on this 1 floor clinic to take a call.
A shame as the general feedback of the GP is very good.
Maybe send a survey to wider patient registered to assess the true patient experienced. Judging by the overall review score on Google others share similar views.

Thank you

First time I visited the place was not a great experience as I wrote in an old review from 2021, but I’ve been there again twice over the past 3 month, was good, the Dr gave me good advices and did a fair amount of test before jumping to a conclusion and the receptionist was also friendly and was easy to book an appointment.
