Defo, zero stars. Our child suffering from vomiting, diarrhoea, and high temperature for 3 MONTHS and they are only able to offer an appointment OUTSIDE when it's windy, rainy to check the child. They won't care about blood, lungs, bronchitis or meningitis tests, because I guess it is normal for them. Poor qualifications, poor "help" (we didn't give anything that could help our child).

STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND WON'T PUT AT RISK YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS. Highly recommend changing your GP when is not too late. 0 STARS.

Shockingly bad!!! I would leave no stars if possible. My husband is ill and sighed off work. Told by GP to call surgery when his sickness certificate needed extending. He called 6 times over 2 days with no call back as GP was ‘too busy’. Practice Manager was contacted and assured my husband that a new certificate would be sent electronically within an hour. It didn’t arrive!!! Three more telephone calls later, he has now been told to drive to the surgery to collect it as they cannot resend. This saga has been ongoing for a week. Staff are rude, unhelpful and do not return calls. We will be changing practice as soon as possible and sharing our experiences with the local CCG and NHS complaints team.

UPDATE: This GP are still apalling. I had a scan 8 weeks ago, and they’re still “chasing” the results. Despite me also calling a month ago to find out if they were in. I’ve had an anxious wait for 8 weeks and now it continues…

Original review:

Tried booking a cervical smear several weeks ago and was told they weren’t currently holding clinics for them, that i was to go on a waiting list, and they’d contact me.

Well, they’ve never contacted me, and with the NHS currently running huge campaigns to encourage women to go for their smear tests, by highlighting the dangers of not having one, and explaining how important preventative screenings are, i think it’s appalling that they’re not providing this service for women. I’ve never had issues booking a smear test at previous GP surgeries.

Receptionists at this practice can also be very rude at times, and have given me false imformation about things in the past.

Would not recommend, but the Limes is also terrible (according to friends who use that practice), so sadly no good options for the people of Epping.

Directed to see a doctor within 2 hours by 111, the surgery got me an appointment and I was seen promptly and the issue sorted. Everyone is bashing primary care right now, but they are doing great work with little resource- thank you.

Worse ever place to go for GP in whole country I guess. Please avoid if you can. We didn’t know that so we’re in for bad. Zero star from me. Rude people.

Fantastic service received today from Doctor Kataria who I would highly recommend. Very helpful, personable and sorted out the issue I contacted the surgery about with agreed next steps for treatment. Thank you

Staff here are stressed too many calls to deal with.
Not enough Doctors. Two Doctors for the whole of Epping is not enough.

Please avoid if you can. This GP has over exceeded its capacity long time ago. The receptions treat you like a number but we can’t blame them with the overload of people that they have. We called 2 weeks ago and we’re advised next available appointment is end of July. I was forced to go through 111 to help with my infection. I was then advised my GP will call me and assist with prescription. Call came twice - I have answered both calls but the line was silent. I have then received a message that they tried to call me on number of times but I wasn’t answering. I called the practise 2 mins after the message and call and receptionist was really rude - I told her that I have answered both calls and offered to email screenshots, I begged her to put me in touch with a doctor but she said that I missed the calls and there is nothing she can do for me. Shocking! I’ve had a bladder infection on Friday and was advised to call back on Monday! That’s not how you treat people! I literally cried in pain on the phone but I was met with hostile answer as if that was my fault that line was dead and she was not interested in me sending her a prove that I did answer the call as I have been glued to the phone for all day waiting for the call!! Please don’t be fooled with the location thinking is so local - if you can find a GP in local villages as Epping one is way too crowded and you won’t get the service that you deserve especially in the emergencies that I have had on Friday. This had a knock off effect and I have ended up at A&E today and got well needed help
