My experience at the above GP has left my 6-year-old son and I traumatized. My son was feeling very poorly so I took him into the GP on Monday 11th July at 12:20pm and we saw Doctor Rowena De La Rama. I was given antibiotics as he said he had a throat infection. My son consumed them but was still feeling poorly and the antibiotics gave him a rash all over his body. I returned to the surgery on 12.07.22 at 11:00am as my son temperature was extremely high. My appointment was with Fana Abraha, she advised me to discontinue using the antibiotics to allow his immune system to get stronger. The night of 14.07.22my son had a very high temperature and at one point I feared he was unconscious. I returned on 15.07.22 at 9:20am and I was given an appointment with Fana Abraha who then decided to against her advice of allowing his immune system get stronger and gave him antibiotics. I was given a prescription for antibiotics for children that weighed over 30KG, I was very fortunate that the pharmacy quickly noticed the error of the wrong dosage as weighs only 23KG. I returned to the doctors to get the prescription amended to the correct dosage. At this point my son was very weak and he had a very high temperature. Doctor Talac Mahmud met My son and I at reception and spoke to me Infront of other patients and refused to listen to my concerns. There was no confidentiality and I felt humiliated as his tone got aggressive Infront of other patients. I felt intimated as he began to yell at me asking me to leave the surgery instantly. My son was terrified, he had no consideration for A health condition. He could clearly see how unwell he was. I was not going to leave until he amended my son's prescription, After he yelled and asked me to leave, he decided that he would amend the prescription to the correct dosage. As I was leaving, I was shocked as he shouted out Infront of patients that I was going to receive a warning letter. I felt belittled and mortified that a doctor could speak to his patients in such a rude manner. I was left speechless; he was at fault for prescribing the wrong dosage and I needed the correct medication as my son was very ill for over 5 days.

It's disappointing...
Having an appointment at 9:30, I entered well in time. This was an office day, so I just took some half an hour of away time from office for my appointment.
After waiting for half an hour I was informed that my appointment was shifted to 10:30. And sent an SMS.

When I asked for a complaint form, thy provided a PDF doc which doesn't open

No other option than posting publically.

TERRIBLE PRACTICE, was very very sick and was admitted into hospital many times but when it came to wanting to have a conversation with my doctor miss Rowena De La Rama felt the need to become a security guard against patients trying to get an appointment. She would first ask me 101 questions when I’m clearly in pain and just want a resolution. It doesn’t stop there she started raising her voice at me and shouting at me through the phone over how I am not allowed to get an appointment and need to deal with it myself. Mr Talac Mahmoud is no better. He doesn’t care about any of his patients and never has the time to speak. I have been into the practice multiple times and have called multiple times over the past year with my ongoing health problems and have not been able to receive even one appointment from their time. The worst practice to exist is this one doesn’t care one bit about their patients and you can also see from other similar experiences/review not surprised I’m not the only one.

My recent experience was great! I don’t often see my GP but all appointments were on time and no single problem. Mrs Sukhwinder Dhaliwal was very professional and I have received amazing service from her.
Definitely would like to mention Miss Rowena De La Rama who answered my call in the morning and straight away asked me to come for a check.

I can see lots of changes in this practice and hopefully more happy patients soon :)

Terrible practice. No care for patients. Every time u go they have new doctors lol 😂 . They did my blood in September and said report was normal on my second visit after asking them again they said my calcium is low I should take supplement for that . On my third visit they said my iron is also low I should take supplement. Why can't they tell in one go and when there is so many issues how can they say report is Normal.. in this practice I must say doctors need more practice .
Also, I have been trying to book flu vaccine for myself and my son from last 1 month still they don't have any slot and insist me to get it done from pharmacy and pay for that .

Horrible practice 😡

Well at first to book an appointment was a issue, but they book for the same day, I asked them to do a reference to dermatology and they did, I got my appointment so quickly. I like the way they are improving the services.

I wouldn't even give a star. Just called for repeat prescription for my daughter's formula. The lady on the phone said that the prescription was made two weeks ago ( she only gaves us 4 cans instead of regular 6 or requested 12) she acted like the formula should still be at home and that my daughter is overusing formula WHAT THE F!! This practice used to be amazing and friendly but now they hire anyone with no experience or no competence to work there. I hate it and will be moving practice where they understand that a baby eats their formula and repeat prescription has to be made often. She also said that she wasn't sure if the doctor would prescribe the milk anyway... Get some training done lady!

Dr Rowena needs to be trained on patient care. The service I have received has been appalling to say the least. I will not be visiting this place again
