I have been a patient here for nearly 4 years. Today 29/04/2022 I had an exceptional service from a lady who helped me to sort out my name issues for my COVID certificate in preparation for travel. I really appreciated her help . I’ve had mixed experiences in my 4 years but I really wanted to give credit where it’s due for the friendliness and helpfulness of this staff member

I gave this response as I have had EXTREME difficulty with dealing with a particular individual on the receptionists team. She has made excuses and lack of effort to help in regards with the treatment I was supposed to receive, as I had given in a letter for the surgery by the hospital I had just received a hip operation from, and she blatantly lied and said that there was no letter and Information on this. The hospital I had the sugery at even said that it had sent the letter electronically as well as giving me a physical copy to hand in. So here she is unwilling to even bother to respond to the needs of my healthcare by interfering with the process. On top of this, she had told me I needed to come in to pick up a prescription, so I had to make arrangements for someone to take me as I cannot drive and walk far due to a very recent hip operation. As I got to the surgery, another receptionist had said that I didn't have any prescription to pick up and I had pointed out that the other receptionist who was there that she said so. Then that particular individual had just said "Oh it seems I made a mistake" and that was it. No apology or sincerity for having to make me travel in for a non-existent prescription. These are only a couple of issues I have listed that I had with this particular receptionist and the fact that I have had many more is beyond disgusting.

But other than the receptionist, for the most part , the care that I have received from certain healthcare practitioners have been helpful and good.

Doctors are helpful and so are the staff BUT the surgery is overloaded and with all the new homes set to be built in Cherry Hinton/Fulbourn the situation will get much worse. 2 weeks for just a phone appointment not to be kept is just not good enough. WE NEED MORE SURGERIES OR LESS NEW HOMES. COUNCIL NEEDS TO STOP BEING GREEDY AND MAKE A STAND ON THIS ISSUE.. DENTISTS ARE AN PROBLEM TOO. NOT HAPPY.

This is reflective of todays visit. Appointment was well late, no update and end up seeing the nurse without any explanation. However happy to wait as understand the pressures involved.

However very Poor service not worth visiting the practising nurse , my mother came to go through her health issues she instead hoovered out and prompted to make another appointment, being curious and asking the patient was there anything else she needs help with?

Also overheard staff talking about bad reviews and disagreeing with them ?

Well I think you guys need to take on board feedback and deal with it rather blaming others. Telling customers to waste your time and make another appointment when someone else could be more in need is a better way to deal with this.

I’ve asked for the practice manager to call me, apparently going on holiday, let see if she calls and deals with this feedback or hoovers it under the carpet.

Terrible 1990s website and online appointment booking system. Wait times in call queue are unacceptable. Over 22 years the level of service has dropped so far that I am finally changing surgeries.

One of the worst GPs you can find. You have to wait 30mins in a call having to listen automated music in the background only to get the call disconnected at the end when its your turn and the moment you ring them again you are already 9 in call queue. People will get more disease like blood pressure and stress just by calling this GP. I would rate 0 stars if Google has that option.

I rang yesterday in a lot of pain and was able to have a phone conversation with Dr Green, he gave me an appointment this morning, saw me promptly and in a very friendly manner. Explained everything really clearly and I was able to go and pick my prescription up immediately. Thank you so much!!
