The Surgery @ Aylestone

Great surgery with helpful and professional staff.
I've always been given an appointment so long as I call on the day, I've been able to get a same day appointment when I've phoned as late as 10am! This is novel for me, I'm used to surgeries being fully booked by 8:20am.
I've missed telephone appointments and they're always flexible and manage to call back the same day.
Reception staff are friendly and always help when I'm having issues with my prescription at the pharmacy.
I've never experienced the kind of gatekeeper behaviour I've had to endure from previous GP receptionists. They're all very pleasant to interact with.
The doctors are so thorough in their assessments and really efficient when making referrals, and they're always happy to have face to face appointments.
I've received some of the best care whilst being a patient here and have managed to address long standing health issues.
I'm very grateful for all their hard work.

Useless and Unhelpful staff and it gets worse everytime I have to use the sevice. The staff are always looking to fob you off, makes you wonder what you pay your taxes for. Service is atrocious, if you get an appointment it's some different junior doctor and you have to explain everything over again each time if you are lucky enough to get an appointment after 60 attempts to call them.

My appt was for 10.02am on Saturday 8th October. Bit surprised to find surgery appeared closed when I arrived! A few others also waiting. However didn't wait long and once inside was soon called. Had flu and covid vac with no after effects. All done efficiently. The staff are always very caring.

Very friendly and helpful staff; they inspire great confidence in the practice.
Unfortunately during one of the Saturday flu and Covid clinics they ran out of Covid vaccine but I accept it was due to circumstances beyond their control.

It must be me, but again arrived on time for my appointment, this time for a pre- arranged flu jab but was told on arrival they were running late by 20 mins. Almost an hour later I received my jab. The staff were very pleasant but it would be nice if just for once I actually get to see a practitioner on time. As always, I live in hope.

Excellent service, had appointment for a Flu Jab and was offered a Covid booster jab at the same time, which I happily accepted. The Doctor was pleasant and efficient, be it the appointments were running 20 minutes behind schedule, thanks for the valuable service 👍🏽

Overall flu vaccine service was good, short waiting time. Vaccinator was polite and efficient, one issue was that vaccinator did not clean hands or even change latex gloves between clients. He came straight over with my vaccine using same gloves from previous client. Not good in these infection prevention times post Covid.

Was in need of an urgent appointment in a situation whereby staff was short and there was a high volume of patients. Sophie Duggan was polite and understanding and went the extra mile to help make this happen for me. Very grateful :)
