I'm really shocked by some of the reviews on here. I've been a patient for over twenty years and whilst I have encountered boundaries on reception, it's the exception and certainly not the norm. The Doctors and nurses are all excellent, knowledgeable and patient and providing you accept an appointment with a prescribing nurse for common ailments, it's extremely rare that you're not given a same day appointment. In fact, I missed an appointment here today, phoned as soon as I knew I couldn't get there on time and the ladies on reception arranged for me to be seen later the same afternoon. The GP phoned through to RPH during my appointment because he correctly suspected a condition that needed specialist treatment and I was subsequently able to go straight to one of the wards at the hospital (who were equally brilliant) for treatment which, at half 5 in the evening was exceptional and not at all expected so personally, I'm grateful to be in their catchment area.

I’ve been a patient at St Mary’s Health Centre for 10 years. I have had high standard treatment and compassionate care from the staff team, however, one recent today has been rude and extremely unhelpful. Would not recommend based on the level of arrogance of the poor receptionist .

Whoever the receptionist was at 3:30 today, she did a splendid job at making me feel less panicked

I am really happy with the service of the surgery for the past few years. I have always managed to get appointments in a reasonable time frame and the doctors have all been kind and understanding. Even during the covid pandemic I have been able to get telephone consultations and face to face appointments when necessary. I have recently seen the nurse regarding female issues she is just fabulous. Definitely the right person to see people who are nervous and anxious. She is lovely, chatty and puts you right at ease as well as being thorough and professional.

Absolutely terrible service. I have been with PSM for all my life and never really had any issues until recently, when I applied for a new job and needed the GP to sign a Medical History Questionnaire. The first shock was that it was going to cost me £50 to which I was only asked for payment almost 2 weeks after sending it off… I needed this form as a matter of urgency so I could complete my application for my new job, which I stated to the GP on numerous occasions, after hearing nothing off them and having to chase them up. The second shock, it has now been a month & I still don’t have it! & the last update I had the woman on the phone stated it was “Sat with the Dr”… So now I am stuck wondering whether I will start this new job, all because it has taken a Dr a month to sign a piece of paper… to which I have already paid for too. Shocking service.

I just wanted to say what a lovely Dr Dr Slater is, it's so nice to be able to speak to your Dr without feeling rushed. She is very thorough and explains the reasons for her actions. Thank you

I would just like to commend Sharon{ don't know her surname.) On Friday 27th August I was having certain prescription difficulties ,Sharon was very helpful and patient, advising me how to proceed and even ringing me back to make sure I was sorted! Well done.
