The Hart Surgery

I have had a mixed experience with The Hart Surgery. On two instances they have not communicated important results or letters to me. Standard ridiculously high charges for referral letters. Then again, on other occasions I have seen GPs who understood my concerns straight away and referred me to the right place for treatment.

I have moved a lot over the years and therefore have experienced a wide variety of doctors' offices. Without question, the Hart Surgery has been the best that I have dealt with. Reception is friendly and efficient, the appointment schedule is mostly adhered to (some delays are presumably unavoidable), and the treatment efficient and caring. I really cannot say enough good things about Hart.

I have never had a bad experience at the Hart Surgery. The odd short wait at the surgery will have happened over the course of 39 years of being a patient which of course is inevitable if a GP spends necessary extra time with complicated cases.
There has been unfailing courtesy at all times from staff and GPs alike, speed with appointments and referrals and I am mystified by other negative comments.

Our family have been fortunate enough to be attached to the Hart surgery for over 30 years. In that time we have seen doctors come and go but have always been wonderfully supported during the ups and downs of health issues while raising a family.
Over the last year we have been very impressed at how efficiently the surgery is working in spite of the immense pressure they have been under. Amazingly they have still been providing same day appointments where required, organised Saturday flu jabs, and I even had a follow up appointment on a Sunday. We find the weekly Will Hearsey articles in the Henley Standard well worth a read and especially during this Covid-19 outbreak they are full of practical and helpful advice.
So a big thank you to all staff at the surgery for everything you do.

It is hard to find fault with the way in which The Hart Surgery have managed my medical condition. They have acted promptly and diligently and been most reassuring in their approach. A special mention must be made to my diabetic nurse, Gill Byrne, for her professionalism but the whole surgery deserve praise in these straitened times.

The G.P’s have looked after my health for over 56 years and my families for even longer. We have all been extremely happy with the medical care we have received during this time. When my brother and father passed away on two separate occasions. Several members of the medical staff telephone and passed on their condolences. We were very moved that they had taken the time out of the busy working days to do this.

My work means I meet patients on a day basis and many of them are very negative about their G.P surgeries over Berkshire and Oxfordshire. We have never had issues with obtaining appointments at the Hart surgery. The Hart G.P have always worked to a level of excellence and fell they had are best interests at heart. The admin staff are also very helpful and caring. We honestly feel very lucky to have them.

This is by far the best surgery I have been registered at. All of the staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. From the reception team through to the doctors and nurses, you can be sure you will be treated in a friendly and professional manner. A gold standard practice.
