New Road Surgery

I have never been to a Practice like it. Absolutely fantastic. All the staff are so friendly. The reception ladies are amazing. They do everything in their power to find appointments to suit you and work around your schedule. The Nurses are so friendly and the Doctors are fantastic at ensuring you receive the best care and they make you feel so welcome. Hats off to this Surgery. It's the best I have ever come across!

New Road Surgery has been my medical place for over 30 years and I have never had a problem with it. My GP, Dr Clare Jenkins, is wonderful, the reception staff are always as nice and helpful as possible and I have never had a problem with any one of the nurses or doctors. These places are always overwhelmed by treatments and patients and you sometimes need to wait a while, but NRS is just a good, considerate place and my GP is unbelievably talented, smart, caring and so helpful.

I’ve been going to this practice for many years , the doctors are lovely . But I have to say the receptionist is so rude . Made a phone call this morning to ask for medication as I was going away to be spoken to to ubruptly and so unkind . Why do that job if you can’t speak to people in a kind and caring manner .

I have to say this Surgery is exemplary! I have lived here for three years now,due to health reasons and my contacts with the Surgery have all been excellent! I now have my own Doctor at Sarratt Surgery and met her for the first time this morning and my experience was superb! She is very thiriugh with a great patient bedside manner,as it were! Doctor Jenkins,I salute you!

We registered with the surgery yesterday. I compared with nearby surgeries abd asking the same questions I got a more knowledgeable, kind and professional answer there. They have more doctors . I would recommend it highly

I have been with this surgery for many years and have never had cause to complain, in fact I used to boast that the receptionists here were very different from what you hear about other surgeries and rude receptionists, however the receptionist I just spoke to was very RUDE and extremely dismissive of my needs. I understand that you are very busy, but I was not rude and therefore did not expect the flippant instructions I received from her. There are signs everywhere currently asking you to be polite to staff surely this is a two way courtesy.

Good staff and Dr's but the on the day telephone booking system is a joke. Called at 0800 on the dot. Put on hold for 25 min to be told no appointments and to call back at 1400.

Again (6 months later) calling at 0800, put in hold for 5 minutes, then told the surgery is closed. Been calling back for the last 30 min and the message says the surgery is closed. No appointments available on the NHS app.
