I have always had d service from Highlands Health Centre, if they are running late it's because they care about people, and have had to spend the few minuites extra with other patients, remember they will spend that extra time with you when you need it!

Awful service, will be looking at other doctors who are not part of the beacon group. Son is sick and unable to offer an appointment for 2 weeks, telephone appointment given. How a doctor can diagnose and listen to my son's chest over the phone is beyond me. Now both practises are beacon in ivybridge and are in effect private companies running these surgeries how is that offering tax paying patients choice. Will be speaking to MP about the poor monopoly that has been created in ivybridge.

Most disgusting service. Several calls rejected as no answer, visited in person in tears due to excruciating pain then told no one could see me. Sent to Ivybridge Health Centre to be seen by a nurse who admitted me to hospital immediately. Given a nurses appointment by the hospital after my operation who told me they were reluctant as no appointments available. On attending my appointment the nurse was not in a good mood at all, tried a little humour with her to break the ice which fell on deaf ears. Not very careful and certainly inconsiderate as she changed an internal and external dressing which all fell off when I used the toilet. Tried to call back and got an answer after 11th attempt to be told I could only see the same awkward nurse. Refused this appointment due to threat of having same nurse!!! Awaiting appointment from Ivybridge Health Centre, formal complaint on its way to Highlands regarding nurse and poor treatment on lead up.

Ignored at front desk by a too busy receptionist who carried on typing and said I didn’t see you!! Then started to argue with me in front other patients, absolutely disgusting!

Today I dropped in a request for medication that I haven’t needed for some time and was expecting to wait 48 hours for it. However a very nice doctor rang me to say he would do it right away but he also wanted to check how I was. Excellent service - thank you

Used to be such a wonderful personal medical practice. However since day one of it being taken over by Beacon. I wish I could rate this practice below a one star ratting. It deserves none. Poor service and it is a money making business rather than taking pride to care for the people.

Absolutely terrible waited on the phone for 37 minutes and still didn't answer trying to see a doctor is a massive operation and having to tell your personal history to a receptionist is not acceptable.

Used to be a brilliant surgery but since beacon has taken over its appalling,no one ever answers the phone and when you ask to see a doctor they say they are to busy,the new service is terrible and they don't seem to care!!!
