Receptionists are polite, depending who you get, some are not and try to fob you off.
My opinion is to AVOID this practice at all costs.
Try Kirkby Community primary care centre on Portland Street. They are much nicer.
Dr prabu is lovely, listens and is through and understanding. One other doctor I saw was through but was so panicked and a little dramatic he scared me, made me think I was in medical trouble.
Now the bad.
Up untill recently the receptionists have been ok. But just recently they seem very short on the phone. They sometimes make you feel you should be ashamed for calling. One receptionist was boarding on being moody with me, and pushed me into having to explain my perspective of why I wasnt happy, about being told I have to ring back at 1pm (it was 1259. Then rang agin 1 minute later and she said all appointments were gone, you must ring tomorrow thats all wr can do. All I got was a lecture of how I cant call untill 1 and the appoinments go. To be fair this is fine, its not their fault especially when doctors are on holiday, but there's less short and moody ways of speaking to patients.
