Penrhiwceiber Medical Centre

Very confused why the recent two 'reviews' of the Penrhiwceiver Medical Centre have been so agressive & hateful without going into relevent detail about why they may be a bad service.

I have used the surgeon for over 20 years and the doctors & staff have usually been helpful with providing relevent information and solutions for medical concerns I do face, whether it be physical or mental health concerns. The reception/staff team have also been mostly kind to a lot of the patients I see went to see them in person before the pandemic changed how they run things, and Dr Morgan has been a truly amazing doctor to me since I was a child.

Of course things aren't perfect and sometimes some of the information or solutions to problems I may face may not always work, however that is a rarity & I usually get the appropriate help requested or will come to a solution after some trial and error with different medication. If the service requested isn't available at the surgeon, I can usually be referred to another practice with a written referral to the relevent piractice(s).

The chemist next door is sadly another matter entirely, however this isn't about them as this is about how overall helpful the Penrhiwceiber Medical Centre has been to me over the 20+ years I have been seeing them.

We moved to the area six years ago and have always found Dr M, other GP’s at the practice and reception staff to always be professional, courteous friendly and approachable. We had a serious diagnosis in the family and the surgery went above and beyond to be helpful and caring.

Pityful, hapless, unhelpful, receptionist more concerned with HER self ingratiation and own importance than care for clients

Shockingly poor practice. Very unhelpful processes.
