Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club

A good golf course with lots of long and wide fairways on the 18 hole course, the course is well kept and good greens to putt on. The only disappointment was that the changing room and the showers available golfers is way below what you would expect of such club and the shower were awful and no towels provided hence the 4 starts on this review.

Fantastic facility! Gym is very good.

Sadly always seems to be a problem with the pool and sauna.

Review based on the driving range. We’ve now booked the VIP areas a few times and had nothing but good experiences. The staff are lovely and always helpful, I can be difficult at times (not unfriendly at all, just like to lean on people a bit!), and they couldn’t be more accommodating.
Always clean and today, and nothing is too much trouble. 10/10.

Real shame about how slow the golf is, 3 groups waiting on the 5th tee. Again on the 15th tee there is 3 groups waiting.

Golf course is in good condition but being held up by a 4 Ball with buggies on every hole has been impossible to play

This place is my church. And made all the better for always being well staffed with polite, smiley and professional people. Always clean, well managed and maintained and great facilities. I also like that it feels way less pretentious than other places I've been to. Oh and the food is really good too, punching way above their weight!

What a transformation it has had over the last 5-10 years. Fantastic set up with large bar area, upstairs function room over looking the course, very large driving range of high quality, well packed pro shop and now an extensive leisure & swimming pool.

I stopped going to birchwood about 5years ago due to the fact that the coarse is constantly overbooked. This causes a lot of standing around waiting on tees and fairways. Thought I would try it again over the Christmas break and sadly it has got worse.
