Beautiful location stunning scenery great walks loads of wildlife, deer, sheep, squirrels, buzzards. The weather was fabulous .
The site was clean well appointed the staff polite helpful and accommodating.
Only 150 yards from The Arran distillery visiting and tasting recommended if you are in the area.

Great location by the coast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Site was a little dated and in need of a some TLC. A bit scruffy but has all the amenities. Not many showers or toilets for the size of site so had to queue each time. Very handy for ferry to mainland, the distillery and the amazing sandwich shop by the ferry terminal.

Lovely place, fantastic wee golf course (my lowest score for 9 Holes ever), accommodating host, clean, friendly - need I say more.

Arrived without a booking. Owner so helpful walking husband round to show him a choice of pitches. He also helped us find times of ferries as tide time had altered sailings. Site is immaculate with all the facilities you’d expect.

We've been visiting Lochranza ever since we first visited Arran back in 2011 qnd have always made a point of congratulations back to 'meet' and see the local deer, who has always been there to greet us. This time we had both our kids, a first for our youngest at 3, but he still loved seeing these beautiful animals so close up.
If you ens up camping on the Lochranza campsite, there is a good chance you'll also see the deer roaming the site, which is how we first met them.

We had a really amazing stay here. The campsite was very well maintained, basic shower and toilet block but that's all you need. Golf course a 2 minute walk from campsite which would come in handy for anyone interested in playing golf. Beautiful view of lake and hillside if you walk down across the golf course, definitely take midge spray!! .. stag and deer regularly walk by and you get so close to them. Ferry trip across was pleasant. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Loved the place ideal location for walks 🚶‍♂️14 miles away from shops or bars so take your own .. stunning views, wild deer 🦌roaming about our first time here but we have booked for next year we enjoyed it that much. 😀 It's a quiet 🤫site with really dark skies at night no light pollution at all, good clean amenities all the locals are friendly and happy to have a chat with you or offer advice on different trails and walks 👍🌞🚢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛰🚶‍♂️

Well maintained site in a beautiful location. Friendly wardens and good covid prevention rules in operation. Stags and deer wander past on occasion and Eagles circulate on the hills above the site. There's a restaurant just outside the gates - book early as it gets very busy. Also nearby is the Arran Distillery with cafe, picnic area and car park. The Distillery shop has a range of products including non alcoholic merchandise. Enjoyed the stay and will be back but don't forget the smidge
