Simon Buckley Golf Coaching

Simon has been teaching my 7 year old son throughout 2020. When my son first arrived he had no real idea how to grip or swing a golf club. Within half an hour he had the basics nailed down and from then on has gone from strength to strength. My son loves his lessons with Simon and we have both found Simon to be very personable and professional. Highly recommended quality instruction and fun. 5 stars

I couldn’t ask for a better golf!! Simon is very professional but also makes sure you are enjoying the golf as much as you are learning at the same time, he motivates me to get better and praises progress where needed. Simon has been my coach for years now and I look forward to the next time we play everytime we do! He isn’t boring at all and I would recommend him to anyone be it a beginner or not.

Towards the end of last year I booked a 'Taster Golf Session' after being interested in learning to play for a long time - I didn’t have any experience so this was a great introduction which I really enjoyed. I then booked the ‘12 Hour Bespoke Package’ and have since learnt so much, including stance, grip, swing, different types of clubs/shots, terminology and even some science and psychology behind the game.

Simon is professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Each lesson has been a lot of fun and he has given me the confidence to get out on the course.

I would recommend Simon to anyone who is thinking about learning to play golf or hoping to improve their game!

I am a 25ish handicapper and have been working with Simon for a few months now. He has helped me understand how a good golf swing should work and importantly how to make it repeatable.

The lessons are very enjoyable with simple explanations and drills to take away to work on.

Have been struggling with my putting for too long so decided to take my sorry self to Simon in order that he could offer me some hope and help.
After a quick couple of putts from close range and the usual negative results Simon was quick to offer me routines a to enable me to focus on more realistic and positive outcomes.
I was confirmed at being lined up correctly and that my putting stroke was good. Take my fingers out of the stroke and use your larger muscle groups when putting.
Things are improving, still not the finished article but definitely mentally in a better place. Augusta beckons in 2023. Thank you Simon. I can highly recommend you give him a try.

I started golf lessons, (which I vowed I would never do) in between lockdowns. Simon has been very patient with me as a complete newbie. He is never patronising or critical, instead worked on building my confidence, knowledge, skill and is still very patient with my weak points! He has introduced me to other lady golfers which has been an invaluable turning point for me. He advised on kit and clubs etc to ensure I bought the correct everything and offers advice and reassurance along the way.
I recently joined Hill Barn Golf Club as a flexi member which would never have happened had I not made the decision to choose Simon to coach me.

My husband and I have been having lessons with Simon for a few months. Simon is an incredible coach and he has helped bring us from complete beginners to a couple who feel confident playing a round at a golf course. Simon's lessons are fun and filled with information. I would thoroughly recommend having lessons with him whether you are a complete novice or looking to improve your game.

I am a total beginner at golf and Simon has been very patient with me. He explains things so clearly, and if I do not understand he uses a different approach. He is supportive, patient, and very encouraging. I would definitely recommend him.
