M&S Foodhall

Lovely store, polite service with a super selection of food and flowers newspapers and magazines. Good parking area outside the front door. My only criticism is that I have asked on numerous times for salmon and asparagus which as a family we enjoy but never seems to be available here despite me asking only with watercress sauce which my family don't like. This is the only thing that stops it being 5 star, position is brilliant.

Not cheap, but the staff are cheerful and very helpful and there's never a worry about quality.

Visited to do the Christmas shopping, first time I had been. Overall impressions it's a nice store, staff are extremely helpful and produce was well stocked. Only negative was the store didn't flow?? If that makes sense it was an awkward layout the aisles seemed the wrong way around. That is a personal preference to how I usually shop.
The till queues were kept as small as possible with all tills made available and staff directing customers to tills or self check out.
I would visit again. Price wise, it's M&S so a little pricy but you get what you pay for quality!!!

3rd time ive had a random product (that doesnt exist in store) added to my bill at the till! One time it was a product that was £50. Have to remove 4 stars. Other than that its brilliant.

Can't vault m&s it's a great shop . But the carpark a different matter.i have a big 4x4 and always go on a Sunday with my granddaughter , cannot get her out if I park in normal bay so need child parking to get her out ,there was no child parking bays so the only place is the disable bay so I can open door without banging doors,got a £100 pound ticket for parking there not anoth child parking bays only two needs more won't be going again go to Tesco now instead been going to m&s as well for years

Good selection of food and helpful staff but large amount of frozen range suffers from freezer burn due to faulty freezers. Avoid this store for frozen meats.

Well run with a good selection - albeit quite cramped. COVID safety measures are decent, with staff on the door and baskets/trolleys cleaned regularly. My only criticism is the layout; lunch items are tucked away at the far end (near the tills) which is not ideal if you need to dash in.
Would be good if Marks expanded the space (maybe a deli counter?) as this is the only M&S for many miles and very popular.
