Reason I'm making this statement is due to the fact i've heard that students are being punished for writing reviews such as this one and getting detentions. What happened to freedom of speech? Or is this just another thing to add to the list that makes this school a dictatorship rather than a democracy? Seriously, most of the teachers feel the same way. Or at least they did before they were replaced with brainwashed minions.

A friend of mine had to leave this school due to the fact they would not let her do only 3 alevels with them, yet there were already other students doing this, and did not tell her until after a month of working on her original time table. ONLY changed because as a previous person said, all this school cares about are the grades, and not the students well being.

A few years ago this school was perfect, achieving high grades and maintaining the students happiness. Now all the school cares about are grades, grades grades grades. Open your eyes.

P.s. I liked most of the subject teachers, but they're not the people running the school.

Cardus would rather pay overfund the compulsory departments and buy the licenses to thinking hats and thinking maps rather than maintain the school and ensure student happiness. "We ONLY got 96% A*s!? That is terrible, work harder, peasants!"
I, myself am in Year 9 and am now considering a move to another school, as I hate that even if you tell the school you're having a hard time, nothing happens. It's such BS

Awful experience just on the taste day. Who organises such shambles? Tons of kids, separated from their friends, leaving crying because they didn't want to be put in a group with total strangers by not smiling teachers and foreign speaking hard nosed faces. When we asked to not separate the twins they told us up to us to stay or go. I felt guilty forcing them to stay only to be met with crying eyes at the end of a terrible day. The entire feedback from our friends kids and ours was negative. They hated it. Boring taster groups, some spoke only in French, didn't let them drink water, and only provided them with sugary juice and sugar snack so from 9:-1.00 the kids were treated like robots. Shame. Guess being a grammar doesn't make you good with kids.

The school has come a long way from 4 years ago, for the best. The staff are much better and the school in general is focusing more on a child’s welfare than grades. But the canteen uses a system just to squeeze money out of kids, by using FOBs to buy food, being kids most lose them all the time. A replacement costs £3, I have missed my train this morning looking for my FOB. Go back to finger print - no one ever lost that.

This school was better attributed to a year in the life of a soviet system aka. No working heating and detention for the slightest provocation against the state. The homework is gruelling and unrelenting and all votes are fixed against the students. I was disenchanted up until the point when the school changed its name to Big chungus gramma squeeze. 5/10 run by millennials

While the teachers are good, leadership views students as marks on a sheet. the school is focused on ticking boxes and progressing within the academic world as a school, not on providing opportunities or comfort to the students. As a student here, I feel it's too cramp as well as that facilities are uncomfortable. The school provides little to no extracurricular activities for those not interested in sport and makes empty promises at every turn.

Terrible school, known for beating and degrading all of the students (luckily I'm into that) and they got bees just to torment the children who are allergic
