My daughter attended this school for only a short amount of time due to the poor standards of teaching and attention to the student needs.
I will never be recommending this school to any of my fellow parents.
I've attended meeting after meeting to sort this issue before pulling my daughter out but the staff were rude and didn't act on their promises to me as a parent..
I highly suggest to all parents to avoid this school when making a decision for their children, my daughter has been in ruins since going to the school..
This place must be the worst school in the United Kingdom.

Horrible school. There were been multiple issues in my time going here, including bullying that was not resolved when the situation was taken to multiple members of staff, and the bullying continued after nothing was put in place to prevent the bullying: it just got worse. Most teachers/members of staff are very nice, and it is a clean, well looked after building.. although their attitude towards their students wellbeing isn’t the best. It wasn’t just me who experienced this bullying, it was several other people, and the teachers didn’t do anything. Did not like my experience here.

Teachers target students and treat them awfully, the leadership team is atrocious and they don’t care about their pupils. I took a case of bullying to a safeguarding member of staff. The bullying had taken place over two years, then it started to get more severe. I brought them evidence, however there was no justice and practically no investigation. It made me feel like I should have never brought it up. My biggest regret is choosing to go here for years 7-11. If you’re thinking about going here I would definitely reconsider and look at other options.

Loved the M&S in the back corner of maths class, went there everyday to get some bleach. One day, spilt it all over my desk in science and the whole class blew up, didn't realise the bunsen burner was on.

So far my experience at this school has been anything but pleasant. from multiple cases of bullying to teachers that just don't care about the well being of students. Don't even bother bringing your issues to staff, it's not like they'll actually do anything and they treat people differently (favouritism). Homework is of an overwhelming amount and is quite a difficult task to complete. Expectations are too high and create a lot of stress and anxiety. The science classrooms are disappointing and equipment is outdated. Main building looks like a large group of smokers have been living there for years and there are leaks in the ceiling, but the school would much rather spend money on making it into a tourist attraction by using the ww2 tunnels for publicity. We had to use porta loos for almost a whole term! how was I expected to wash my hands and how was I to dispose of sanitary products, its absolutely disgusting! Not to mention a clear health and safety issue. There's always water all over the toilet floors and desks and chairs are always filthy. Many teachers are rude and hypocritical with a colossal sense of self importance overall I'd rate this school 0/10 would not recommend.

Amazing school, with great leadership and passionate teachers with the exception of unprofessional and lazy maths department. Filed a complaint about a teacher 4 times for unprofessional behaviour and poor teaching (along with multiple others in my class) and the head of maths instead of fixing it began a personal vendetta against me to the point that just before school submissions, changed my predicted grade from a 8 to a 3-4 stopping me from submitting to other schools. Took over a year to fix, and only was resolved when handed to the leadership team. Other than insufficient maths department a wonderful experience.

I was here about 10 years ago so it might be different now, but other than a few good teachers most of them thought belittling, humiliating, and shaming students was the way to make them do better. Bullying was HORRIBLE. Very little support for students. I have very few fond memories of this place.
