Retsina & Mousaka

Don’t go here, the food is below average and the staff are racist. I’m black Caribbean and came with my Greek/ Albanian boyfriend and the food was literally thrown at the table. He dumped the table cloth on a pile on the table and said “do it yourself”. We gave him the benefit of the doubt as we thought he was under pressure but it just went down hill from there.

Try to avoid as the attitude is very bad towards customer. We came 11 people, friends and we want it to stand together but as well to pay separately. He did not like at all when we ask to have different bill.( we wanted 3-4 different bill). He said he doesn’t want and when I challenge his attitude he turn to worst. He did not bring my son drink ( 3 years old) , he bring for everyone one unless his until I asked for it. He brought humus and dumped it on my table, I put it aside and when I told him that I didn’t order hummus he took and give it someone else and said is from the house. We waited so much for the food and when I noticed everyone has theirs apart from us he said he can’t do it faster, in that moment we decide to leaves. I would not recommend to anyone to go there if you want to have a nice and relaxed night.
We might be wrong when we asked to have different bill but his attitude and behaviour towards the customer is bad and he doesn’t deserve good customer.

The seafood special for 2 is a good deal with lots of dips, calamari, grilled prawns and a fish of the day.

We have been going to Retsina & Mousaka since 1998, and I am not sure why I am posting a review only now. We love the food and the atmosphere, and each visit is like a party. The owner is lovely and always has time at the end of the meal for a little chat if you feel like it. Hidden gem in Ealing. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely wonderful, a jewel in London. I was passing by it for so long when once I cought it opened. It was everything I was expecting it to have, a fantastic, caring and a real-people person owner, amazing and huuuge amouns of food and fantastic atmosphere. Thank you Angelo and Maria :)

Always a good meal whether it's to eat in or takeaway. Mixed starters are enough to feed a family and all really tasty. Portion sizes for mains are huge. Great service every time.

Came here recently. Great tasting Greek food and friendly service. We had the Meat Mezede for two and it was a great variety of different dishes and good price and generous portions (we even took some of our leftovers in a doggy bag!)
Would certainly come here again for a Greek feast!

One of the nicest places in Ealing if you are looking for a quiet nice cozy meal. Food is very nice and tasty and the prices are very very reasonable. We also had a bottle of wine that was very nice. Staff is lovely. This lovely little restaurant holds a special place in our hearts ❤️
