Special Times at Fathers Barn

Special Times !! Aptly named as this lovely card shop has been apart of Rubery High street for a number of years now... For cards, balloons, banners, and really lovely little gifts for "Special Times" or occasions this little shop has it all. But this shop is nothing without the staff, who are always friendly, cheerful and have time to chat with some friendly banter... I always shop here...

Excellent customer service here! Asked if they were able to engrave an item of jewellery for a special birthday, despite obviously not being sold at the store. No problem....the sales assistant was extremely nice and said she would ask the engraver. Aaron did an amazing job, especially on such a small item and it was turned around in 24 hours too! Well recommended - thank you!

Friendly, helpful, old fashioned service in a shop where there is something for every occasion and more. Our local shopping centres need to be supported more. Its easy to go online and click a button but you will not get the choice, quality and price that you will get in a shop like this. Best in the area for trophies and engraving. 5*****

I can't recommend Special Times highly enough. We ordered trophies for our football team, and both Alan and Aaron were incredibly helpful.

The quality of the trophies, the engraving and the service was impeccable and we will certainly be using Special Times again.

I am sadly unable to work out how to "post" a photo of a gift purchased from Alan and Dee. I purchased a Dartington Crystal Gin glass for a colleague who was leaving and despite short notice, Alan took the necessary time to skillfully engrave with a bespoke design. I would not go anywhere else for that "special" gift, or card. Not only are Alan and Dee friendly but take the time to understand what you need. If they have not got a product they will know where they can source it for your satisfaction. With grateful thanks and looking forward to many more purchases and the new friendship

The shop its self is lovely the staff are amazing.i popped in today for a card for my new born grandson and there range of ballons caught my eye..I asked if u had to order a personalised balloon and normally you would and they take about an hour..the ladies in the shop went all out and made me a lovely personalised balloon in less than half an hour and god bless them they were rushed off there feet..so a massive shout out to special times 5 stars from me thank you ladies xx

Amazing experience, went in for cards and ballons for my daughter, the owner I think it was, was so helpful. I really appreciate the effort she went to to help me.

I will definitely be going back here, even though it is out of my way. The customer service makes it worth the journey.
