Clinton Cards

The worst service I had in a long time! Completely incompetent, impolite and ignorant staff, especially the supervisor.
I normally love Clintons for their cards and great choice, but would not go the Cheapside one anymore..

Couldn't get what I needed because internet was poor or it was the lunchtime rush and they didn't want to do it. The lady serving me wasn't very helpful. I would say pretty much survives on being in a convenient location

Shockingly bad customer service!
I went into the store, straight to the card section where a man asked if I needed help.
Whilst I was looking at the cards he was peering inside my shopping bag (I had just been shopping, there are shops nearby 😏)
From left to right he slipped around me trying to get a better view into my bag.

NEVER have I felt like a criminal and so violated and invaded by a shop assistant.
Disgusting man and a shocking way to treat a would be customer.

Quite a big store, staff were nice enough (even during the mad lunchtime rush).

Clintons is usually my first stop when buying cards, love the variety of options they provide.

The detail on their more premium cards are great and always get noticable attention when I give them to people.

The card we wanted,
(£15), was damaged when we asked if they had another just got a blunt NO, well it's no to our custom then. Gave two stars for selection available, member of staff was a let down.

Great Cards, Terrible Service by all sales staff!
I went in to get a birthday card, box ,wrapping etc for a present. There were 2 attendants, one white female with red dyed hair and a tall black male. After wandering around by myself.i eventually asked the guy for a black box .he said that's all we have an walked off not offering to help me find an alternative. I asked another question later on and he said NO and just went back to walking around the store. Went to the lady to ask about the size of boxes and she spoke to me from behind the register...a NO...there were no customers and I was less than 5 feet away. No follow up questions. If I absolutely didnt need the items I would have walked out but I bit my lip and made a purchase and left. If I can help it I wont be returning. MANAGEMENT PLEASE DO SOMETHING. you sales staff are ruining your shop!

Good selection of cards. Quite pricey though. Has a good range for that something special

Has a huge selection of great cards for all occasions. Popped in today to get all my Xmas cards before they close down for a month due to covid. Felt sorry for them. Got a 20% discount voucher as well which was much appreciated. Hope to see them on the other side
