Boxxfresh

I moved from Australia at the end of last year and was horrified to realise that most of the veg in supermarkets are packaged in plastic.
I've been on a hunt since then to find a company that provides fresh, unpackaged fruit and veg as nature intended them... and now I have!!

What a great company, with a sustainable focus. Such a fan! As an added bonus it's all so affordable. Absolutely great value for money. I've attached a photo of what I got for £30, delivery charge being only £2. Not a single item was in plastic, and the amount of veg made a weeks worth of lunch's and dinner's for the two of us on a vegan diet.

On a side note I met the owners at the London Brunch Fest just by chance after I'd made my first order. They were so friendly and lovely and really showed their passion for providing healthy sustainable food to the UK.

Great service. I ordered fruit, veg and salad stuff. All arrived beautifully packed and in perfect condition. Everything was excellent quality and much fresher than in the supermarket. Having had an extremely disappointing box from another supplier, I will definitely stick with Boxxfresh in the future. Highly recommended.

I received my first box from Boxxfresh this morning and I am absolutely delighted! Everything is so fresh and beautifully packaged. I love the fact that you can choose each item you would like, unlike most veg box services where you get a set box. Will most definitely re-order and highly recommend.

While more expensive than supermarket fruit and veg the quality is far superior. This means the veg in particular lasts longer and tends to be bigger in size (for kale anyway). No subscription is what I prefer and being able to add items on to the box is a great feature. I did have 1 problem with a lost delivery which was fixed with a replacement box a few days later. DPD deliver and they tend to be pretty good.

Boxx Fresh is by far one of the best quality food box services I’ve come across. The produce is such good quality and it’s a huge plus that it doesn’t come wrapped in plastic. Not to mention, it is very reasonably priced considering how much you get. Cannot recommend this place enough, I’ve been using it for almost two years now 😊

I’ve had a weekly Boxxfresh order for two-and-a-half years now, and have never thought once about switching back to supermarkets, or other box providers. The range and quality is outstanding; they’ve never missed a delivery; and when there’s a problem (usually caused by me) they sort it immediately. Outstanding.

I've been meaning to create a review for some time now, as I'm a pretty regular customer. Finding Boxxfresh has been one of the positive outcomes of these past couple of years, originally driven by convenience and a desire not to visit a supermarket. Now it is so much more - supporting a local business, less plastic waste, great fruit and veg. I also love the recipes which provide much needed inspiration and we are eating better as a result. I am so happy that I stumbled across this website. Seems to good to be true, fresh vegetables straight from the farms to my door for an affordable price. Well, it's true. The size of some of the vegetables are amazing compared to what you get from the Supermarket shelves, the quality is staggering and the taste makes me smile every time I take a bite. Where this beats the conventional shopping at supermarkets is I have had some of the vegetables in my fridge for over a week. The vegetables are still ripe and value for money gets another tick. If only I had somebody telling me about this site before when I stumbled across it. I understand to some this may come across as to good to be true. You just have to try for yourself and see...
