East of England Co-op Foodstore, Old Heath Road, Colchester

A cashier there is always rude. I have bought a bottle of wine and been asked for id, when i provide them with my id the cashier doesn’t have a clue on how to read my id and find my date of birth. I explain where to find it and not being believed! Terrible experience and quite embarrassing as a big queue formed waiting for her.

Friendly & busy local corner store. Bear in mind, parking can be tricky, as can maneuvering around the busy T-junction there.

Amazon Locker and cash point outside.

Good range our products but noticeably empty spaces on shelves post pandemic still...

Clean store, staff always friendly and polite

I like this co-op because it always seems to have exactly what I want and the Staff know exactly where to find it!
There's a few places to park outside!

It's a shop that sells food, what more can I say. There is an in store shop, Subway, Boots, a travel shop and Optician.

Changed a bit since last was in it about 10 years ago. Not for the better either. Staff are lovely though.

The store never looks clean and seems very cramped.
