The Store

A good shop to have on campus at your disposal, but with high prices comparing to most of other stores. It contains a relatively large variety of foods, but almost no variety for beauty/care products.

Although the store is on campus, for obvious reasons of convenience prices are ridiculous although normal spar stores are usually half the price. Great variety usually very busy but does have everything you'd need in an emergency

Ok for a campus shop. Would like to see more healthy food there, not just snacks, soft drinks and sweets. They do have meal deals, but some of the products do not have the right price labels or no labels at all sometimes. It can get fairly busy during lunchtime and their card machines sometimes freeze, making the situation even worse. Service is ok, given that it's offered by students who work there part time alongside their studies.

Appalling behaviour by the management. I was singled out for not wearing a face mask and made to feel ashamed and embarrassed. I then had to explain I have a serious medical condition which makes me exempt. I shouldn’t have to explain my medical history to the staff. A formal complaint is being filed with the University

Just overpriced. Closes at 1am but is regularly understaffed so closes early without warning.

They actually charge for hot water…

Alright for the occasional snack. However, even though I understand convenience prices are likely to be higher than a regular store, some of the item prices are way too high, sometimes 2x the value of a shop like Tesco. For example, a large pringles can being £2.99, compared to a tesco clubcard pringles can being £1.50.

A note to any new students, never buy anything which does not have a price tag in the store, 9/10 the item is very overpriced.

The most overpriced store ever! Basics are very expensive especially the loaves of bread they are tiny and awful value for money. They put the prices high because they know a lot of students have no other choice but to walk to Tesco. The meal deal is alright.
