I never thought I’d have to share this review. I have been a customer for sometime - always found their prices to be a bit on the high side but was comforted by their hygiene standards. Oh was I wrong.

The picture attached is of a NEEDLE found inside the wara2 3enab product. It was INSIDE the roll with the rice and meat. I ate the product and thankfully caught it in my mouth while chewing before it could hurt me. I have a whole family eating this and they must be immensely grateful that no one got hurt else this would be a lawsuit.

The worst part is that I emailed their management (after speaker to the manager in store over the phone). It’s been two days - no response yet. Goes to show how seriously they take these health and safety violations.

I will be escalating to the relevant department in the Westminster council.

(no production date stamp).

This is an immaculate Lebanese store packed with lovely fresh products of Arab society. My wife and I had Arabic members of our families on both her side and my side, so we have a fondness for Arabic food and culture. We bought some fresh baklava and nougat. It was so delicious. The store employees were very friendly. I hope we can come back someday.

The products are good but when you have no manager in the shop. Individual employees will destroy whatever you are trying to do.
I passed today and asked for manaesh zaatar lebannies style the very then one. The baker tried to sell me whatever he has. I told him this is not the then one and he should do me a new one specially I wanted to order 6. He said it will take an hour and a half to do it. And he walked away. I had to take whatever he offered just because he does not want bother to do a new batch. He is not the Egyptian because the Egyptian was nice
I told the cashier. But the seems they are not in charge and I felt no one in charge

The dessert guy was very polite

Has everything a Lebanese person would need to be reminded of home.
Fresh fruits
Delicious sweets (baklava, knefeh…)
Roasted nuts
Groceries
Manakish
Would definitely recommend visiting, however keep in mind their products are quite expensive.

I was introduced to fresh dates....I found that (Green Valley) has them. I popped in, Some shouldn't be on the shelves. I found some with moulds on it...? NOT GOOD FOR HEALTH.
I Picked the ones without moulds. Not many options for Vegans.

And meat, ( halal meat) are prepared at the back. Doesn't smell of raw meat, unlike some other places...

Customer service, could be polished too, As I was called, ( next!! ) There were, no, eye contacts, from some of the staff. And the lady at the till, looked at my bag, as I walked towards her till.

But...
She said: Thank you.

Wonderful supermarket just off Edgware Road. Excellent location. Green Valley is always very clean and organised. It’s easy to find your way around around. Everything is labelled and priced. I’ve had a pleasant shopping experience every time. They stock a wide range of produce from the Middle East. They sell fruits, vegetables, snacks, toiletries, freshly cooked food, meat, desserts, nuts, olives, rice etc. Definitely worth popping in if you’re in the area!

Very friendly staff. Disappointed to have walked far to eat kunafa and it wasn't available yet and they couldn't say when they were expecting it. Otherwise a lovely place for lebanese grocery.
