Beautiful nisa store. They’ve got a friendly team who are very helpful. Best local supermarket in the area. They have a freshly squeezed orange juice machine, costa coffee, hot food and freshly made bakery. The fruit and veg display is incredible, always well stocked and it’s 24hours!

Longtime customer first time complainer. Just went to a the Coldharbour lane branch after a long day at work and really fancied three medium-ABV ales from some of Britain's best middle of the road breweries. This NISA advertised an 'Any 3 for £5.50 deal for several such bevs. I gleefully selected my tripod of dehydrated football-fan tinted liquid, only to find at the counter that the deal would not go through the til as advertised. The salesperson was deeply perplexed and was forthright in immediate his assessment that I was wrong, and 'Any 3 for £5.50' was intended by the author to communicate to her/his audience NO MIXING. A small voice in my head shouted ALERT: YOU ARE BEING WRONGED, but my deferential tendencies took me meekly back to the beer aisle.

Upon returning to the rows of bottles holding that sweet sweet nectar the colour of the nicotine rain in a 3 day-used ashtray, that warning voice struck back: no James, the language here is clear - the word ANY is vitally and foundational operative - the rest of the information follows in slick step with this three letter invitation to utopia.

I again calmly referenced the language and rhetorical goals of the advertiser, to no avail with the salesperson. NO MIXING.

At this point, 10 minutes in to my unfolding Nisa encounter, the better angels of my nature won their war with the devil who wanted to sit on the sofa bloated after drinking approximately 1.8 litres of effluent tinged with still-raw grief of November's fallen leaves. And I didn't want the hassle, cos starting an argument over three ales with a salesperson at 10pm on a Monday is really very lame. Writing this is a much cooler thing to do.

So maybe, like change the sign or set up the till with the right transaction process for a mixed set of 3 ales? Thanks

Great little supermarket. The staff are friendly, and they always stock an wide and interesting array of food. For a small supermarket, their vegan selection is amazing and keeps expanding, which is great!

Love this local. They have a good selection of continental food. Their fruit and vegetables are really fresh. Love their heritage tomatoes and wild mushrooms. The staff is always friendly and professional. I am so glad to have discovered this gem of a shop. Only negative thing is that you can't just pop in to get one thing I always end up with a full shopping bag.
