ALDI

As German tourists, we are of course very familiar with Aldi. And to be honest, you can't find any significant difference to those in Germany. The store is well organised, has fair prices and friendly staff.

Clean and tidy store, car park can get busy at times. They do click and collect. It's always cold inside at this store. Normal Aldi opening times.

Good prices (as you'd expect from Aldi) but we couldn't find any vegan cheese, and so had to visit another supermarket. Nice selection of vegan Xmas eats tho'.

Good and a busy little store.
Only snag is they over stock the ends of the iles into choak points with extra pallets so awkward when trying to pass other customers.
The store however Has everything you need and never had any problems withtheir product & produce.
Staff friendly and very hard working so be patient.

Really slow only 3 tills open. suprised for Aldi really quick normally!!!

I’m gobsmacked at the praise! There is a minority group of staff who are exceptionally rude… talking about customers, in front of a packed store.Constant conversation between cashiers when serving, the customer neither greeted or spoken too. One man in particular is frequently guilty of this, bundling shopping down without care. Frequent shouting of “room on X till” and belittling customer’s who don’t see the red/green lights. Heavy pallet trollies are shoved around the store frequently without due care. I was “told” a couple of months ago by another male to move my shopping down the belt as I was holding others up…when there was no one behind!!! About time The Manager got him/herself onto shop floor to witness. Better still HO should appoint a decent team leader. Seriously thinking of driving to another store instead.

Sourdough bread is nothing like as good as lidl
Not enough choice of sourdough breads. Otherwise the store much the same as lidl

Haven't been in for a while. Pleasantly surprised. Fruit stocks were plentiful and were of better quality than previously. Sufficient checkout operatives preventing lengthy queues. Forgot what good value ALDI provides.
