Perfect location, near to high street and all attractions. Friendly staff, lovely clean room. Very comfortable bed, quality sheets and towels, toiletries include. Breakfast was absolutely top. Fresh, local and homegrown as well sourdough bread. Would definitely recommend to stay there.

Clean and well located with friendly staff. Not recommended if you’re a light sleeper and in one of the rooms downstairs. You’ll be awoken by the frequent sound of footsteps of guests walking around the reception and breakfast area on the floor above.

The Portland Guesthouse in cheltenham was a real gem. small and friendly with excellent staff. It's not a hotel proper as such; it's a training school for people with learning disabilities for the hospitality industry and as such I wish them all well as they are obviously being trained to the highest of standards, the rooms were spotless and so unlike the generic boxes you get in the big chains, discrete service and a good breakfast in beautiful regency surroundings. I highly recommend it to anyone bored of the conformity of soulless "lodges" and "inn's".

Lovely guest house with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent optioned! This place is better than some 4 stars hotel, we had the best time and best service during our stayed. The place was clean, the room was amazing cozy and comfortable, breakfast was the best ! good qualities of foods, the service and the staffs were like 5 stars hotel. very recommended 👌

We had such a lovely stay here. The best welcome ever from Becks. We stayed in and had our own drinks in the breakfast room and Becks had set out glasses, lit a candle and put some music on. Delicious breakfast where we met the lovely Sharon. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is so friendly. A lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you.

We were welcomed by Corrina, who did everything she could to make us feel welcome and sort parking. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and home made brownies were provided which were delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable with ample very soft pillows, which of course meant a lovely nights sleep. The location was perfect as we were visiting the theatre and it was only a short walk into town. The next morning there were some lovely breakfasts on offer, I wasn’t hungry so did not take advantage of the amazing looking Full English which other guests had. Listening to the other guests comments, the breakfast sounded delicious. I had some toast, tea and orange juice which were all lovely and set me up for the day. While having breakfast we met Sam, what a lovely welcoming gentleman. Thank you Sam, Corrina and team for a lovely stay!! ☺️
