The Dairy, Guest House / Accommodation in Manston, Dorset

Look no further for a place to stay in the beautiful countryside of Dorset. The Dairy is a spacious, well-appointed and luxurious converted barn, with great views and even a tennis court. Brand new appliances, very comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen made us immediately feel at home. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Beautiful contemporary refurbishment of an old dairy (retaining features such as the large doors, beams and exposed stonework) in a very quiet rural setting. Really high standard of finish, premium appliances, comfortable beds, Bramley soaps and hotel-standard linens.

We came down to Dorset with our son and family for a wedding close by. The Dairy was ideal for us all with three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms or showers. It had been beautifully restored with all mod cons and quality fittings. The main living area was huge with room for everyone. The owners were very friendly and happy for our grandchildren to play with their dogs, which the children loved. There was also a tennis court and swing for them to play on. The owners also set us up with a babysitter to look after the children on the night of the wedding.

All in all, a great weekend.

Wow what a wonderful place and lovely hosts. As others have said the barn is even more beautiful than it appears in the photos. Very bright, clean, spacious, we all entered the barn with a smile when we first arrived. It is ideally suited for day trips to all the touristic sites of Dorset, and set in a wonderful, rural landscape. The cows entertained the kids as did the tennis court.
James and Alexia were very accommodating even organising for a high chair and tennis rackets to be brought over whilst they themselves were away on holiday. The nearby Shaftesbury is a bit of a gem that wasn't on our visit lift but we ended up visiting twice. Would 100% recommend the Dairy to anyone wanting a perfect place in Dorset. Thanks James and Alexia, and hopefully will visit the Dairy again sometime!

What a beautiful place! The home is finished to a very high standard, with everything that you could possibly need.

The photos really don’t do it justice, it’s so spacious!

Although the hosts live next door, they didn’t bother us as all (apart from a welcome and checking if we needed anything). Lovely welcome pack too (great cake!).

A great base for exploring the area, not too far from the coast, and the tank museum was a great day out.

Would happily stay again, and highly recommend.
