Woodlands Guest House

This lovely Guest house is a hidden gem. It is a great place to stay a few minutes away by train from the City of Liverpool. Bernie made us feel very welcome, the bedrooms with ensuite bathroom are clean and the breakfasts are delicious. Mike and Bernie obviously work very hard to make a stay very enjoyable. I look forward to my next visit.

Very nice and comfortable beds which is fantastic for someone like me with a curved spine. Was politely emailed as asked for a bath and not available as we have a newborn which we bath, but very delighted as large spacious shower to hold a baby bath. Room is clean and tidy. Full breakfast my husband took advantage of, which was lovely. No oil or grease nicely cooked that even a fussy eater like myself would have eaten.
Free parking available on their large drive not on street.
Importantly it is run by lovely polite helpful people.

Looked at the other reviews and couldn't believe someone gave it a 3 star just because it's not in town, nothing to do with the Guest House.
5 star Guest House for us and we have stayed in 5 Hotels in Liverpool before and only 2 of them were better than this as a Hotel and not a Guest House.

Our 2nd occasion to stay at the Woodlands Guest House. Highly recommended if you want to stay in a very comfortable, quiet, clean and well run establishment with car parking and good breakfast choice. Much better than a lot of highly priced hotels. We would definately stay again. B&J C.

Even after I messed up my booking, they were still gracious enough to accommodate me. The guesthouse is situated off the main drag in a quiet neighbourhood. Very little road noise which is key for me. Close enough to the plaza to walk. Breakfast is more than adequate. Bedrooms are a decent size and the shower is great. Bed was really comfortable. Will definitely recommend staying.

The food was extremely tasty and fresh... after a week of working away this was the last stop on my travels and an oasis after staying in other subpar hotels. Beautiful grounds and the room was spacious, tastefully decorated and most importantly, clean!

Me and my family had an excellent stay at this Woodlands Guest House.

This is a Victorian style and extremely spacious (high ceiling even on the roof floor!!) hotel with Victorian decor. It's definitely a 4 STAR hotel with comfortable beds.!

Mike and Bernie have been very welcoming and friendly. Something I'll never forget is that Mike overlooked the small damage my child did to their decor.

What a great hotel and a great hosts will definitely be revisiting them if I visit Crosby again.

Lovely cute guest house. We had a double deluxe room, which was massive. Had our own big en suite too with shower, large sink and toilet. Bed was so comfy, had a really good night's sleep. The owners were so friendly and accommodating too. Breakfast was included in the price and was delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent bed and breakfast. Amazing hosts. Comfortable bed, quiet night's sleep, huge room, lovely breakfast. Walking distance to Crosby beach. Will be back!
