The Tilstone Guest House

A wonderful place and a home from home. Lynne and Bobby (and their cuddly dog) do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. Our room (7) was not big - it's a period property - but the ingenious use of space and storage ensured it didn't feel cramped at all. The room was gorgeous, the bed deliciously comfortable, the en suite clean and organised, the lighting cosy and with a wonderful morning sunshine that greets you along with a sea view. Something that tends to get overlooked in those places is the number of plug sockets but there are plenty here handily beside the bed along with USB ports to charge your phone and free wi-fi. One more thing - breakfast! A choice of delicious fruit juices, smoothies and yogurts. Also a selection of Danish pastries, ham, cheese, salami, and toast with a selection of jams or marmalade or honey. I also recommend the fruit salad freshly prepared every morning and delivered to your room. It's a wonderful start to the day and the cosy bed ensures the day is rounded off well too. Lynne and Bobby have many regulars and are frequently fully booked. It's not difficult to see why. I'll be returning if I can. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Lynne & Bobby are amazing hosts! Brilliant location for us and really homely feel, my daughter loved meeting the dog Ripley, he is an absolute sweetheart but Lynne checked we were OK with dogs before letting him out to cuddle up to my very welcoming daughter! Room was super clean, loads of drinks to choose from and fridge and a huge TV. We came for my daughters 12th birthday and it was lovely, thank you! Xx

One of the best places we have stayed so far in North Wales its great value for money and you get room service breakfast included. Highly recommend this Guest house the rooms are clean and the bed was huge. Definitely coming back again soon!

Me,mrs came here it was great ,nice price ,nice location ,walk into town 10 mins or £4.20 in taxi ,free parking outside property wish we could have stopped longer ,breakfast was in room which i was.nt sure about but hey no worries loads of choice ,but no cooked breakfast which was nice for a change ,would love to come back soon thanks.

A very enjoyable stay. Impressive customer-focused attention to detail, and hardworking, attentive hosts. Highly recommended. Up the mighty 'Pool. (Tangerines, that is).

Lynne and Bobby have done a fantastic job looking after us for the last 4 night stay at their guest house and they have gone above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us and the rooms are clean and tidy and very warm during these cold nights.
We have stayed at many guest houses over the years but this has been our best experience of customer satisfaction well done to you both and keep up the good work

Well located, clean, full of details a very well hosted.

We stayed in here just for one night during our trip trough north Wales. This b&b es located in a quite but centric area of the town. It also have plenty of bus stops around but also a convenience store and some restaurants.

The mattress and bedding are comfortable. The bathroom is nice and clean (small). The breakfast was a 5 stars, we had the option of choosing from a menu on the previous day, the options are continental, it arrive on time ( room service ) and was plenty and tasty.

Thanks again for another wonderful stay. You go the extra mile to accommodate your guests with all the extras not expected at a Guest House. Your extensive Continental breakfast delivered to your room on a trolley (Tick list menu) is superb. The small quiet fridge is a great bonus, great hospitality tray, bathrobes, decent sized TV and excellent covid safety standards. And not forgetting the wonderful Mr Ripley (The Boss!!)🐶💙
