A very friendly welcome from the new owners of the Dinas Castle Inn. Used it as a base to walk around the Black Mountains. Great accommodation options, tasty beer and hearty breakfasts. Would definitely recommend it to others looking to explore the Black Mountains. Thanks for your hospitality.

Julie greeted us with such a friendly attitude and couldn't do enough. She sorted us a space in the camping field for our van. It has a shower and toilet and amazing views . After a days hiking the food was amazing. The gammon and the hot rock steak both fantastic. Such friendly service and great beers too. Can't wait to come back.

My car broke down outside Dina's Castle Inn last Wednesday around 5pm. Although the pub was closed that day, Ray and Julie kindly offered a safe shelter for me and my family while waiting for breakdown assistance.
We were offered tea and snacks (free of charge). The pub itself is set in a very beautiful village and the facilities are really good. Highly recommend this pub.
Next time I drive through Pengenffordd, I will definitely stop for a drink at Dina's Castle Inn.
Thank you Ray and Julie once again for your hospitality and kindness.

Fantastic pub and bunkhouse for a group trip in a stunning location. Julie is incredibly welcoming and we had great value food and drink all weekend. Highly recommend the steak on hot stone.

Lovely little Welsh pub situated at the beginning/end of the Waun Fech circular walks. There’s a small car park costing £2 and a little beer garden great for sunny days! Brill place to get a pint after a hike!

Couldn't have stumbled across a nicer run place after an accident while biking with friends, made us very comfortable when we arrived and when the ambulance couldn't get over to collect me the landlord (sorry I've forgotten your name) promptly took us down to the hospital. We will be back, and definitely dropping in, in a better state too for refreshments and food ☺️

Could not fault our stay at Dinas Castle Inn! A beautiful backdrop with wonderful owners! Nothing is too much trouble for Ray & Julie; the food is incredible (great portions too), good selection of drinks and also a cracking selection of games for the evening in front of the fire!

Highly recommended for anybody looking for a scenic retreat who wants to relax or enjoy the local mountain walks.

Thanks so much guys! We will see you again soon.

Just spent a lovely weekend at Dinas Castle Inn. Ray and Julie really know how to look after their guests.
Speaking to locals who say they've really done a fantastic job of inviting the local people back in after a number of years where people didn't want to visit. The young staff have two fantastic bosses to help then grow and develop I've no doubt.
The pub is situated in a beautiful area of the UK and has some amazing scenery, a truly warming place for passing walkers or just local people wanting some amazing food and drink.
My family are looking forward to our next visit, keep up the great work guys.
