My fiancée made a mad decision to stay in a hotel or B&B in Porthcawl. I booked The Marllew Guest House from reading the reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. The place is clean, the service is amazing and the rooms are comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how modern the room we stayed in for the £££. It's just a few minutes walk to the fun fair, with plenty of pubs along the route. The owner was very nice and laid back in her approach and made my fiancée and myself very comfortable. It's well worth the stay

Warm and friendly welcome. Lisa is a marvelous person, ever ready to help, finding us the best places to eat and putting up with our wet golf equipment everyday we played in the rain. For health conscious persons with diabetes or cholesterol concerns, Lisa cooks her breakfasts WITHOUT oil, and they are delicious. She even has oatmeal ! To top it all her place is great-value for money.
Wonderful place for golfers. 5 minutes from Royal Porthcawl GC which is THE BEST course in Wales and amongst the best in UK. Porthcawl itself is lively yet cosy.

Stayed at Marllew with family. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Lisa was an outstanding host friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable , clean and stylishly decorated. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice and range. Great value for money and a stone's throw from the promenade and sea. We would highly recommend it to anyone. First Class.

we stayed 2 nights here now .I stay in a lot bed breakfast .And this one was the cleanest friendliest one i have stayed in .The room was spotless lisa was brilliant made us feel welcome and nothing was any trouble for her breakfast was spot on large screen tv in the room ensuite and balcony i now have my b&b for porthcawl and will stay there time and time again

We stayed at marllews one week ago with our friends Sharon and paul. We all agreed that it was a wonderful b and b. Lisa was so accommodating and friendly= a genuinely lovely lady. Our bedrooms were extremely clean and well decorated. and our bed was so comfortable I would have loved to have brought it home. Breakfast was first class and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to Lisa . We cant wait to go back again.

Warm welcome room was very nice. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was decent. Dog friendly to a degree we only have a small frenchie. Price to stay is reasonable. Only a minute walk to the promenade front. Will definitely be using this place in the future.
