Toffees Guest House

Stayed here for three weeks with my wife. At first they were nice and all was well however this changed when after two weeks we had to ask for the bed linen to be changed as well as the towels. They never came in to clean the room and we even took it upon ourselves to vacuum it ourselves and buy sanitizer to clean with. The breakfast was nice at first but after two days we noticed that the cook was constantly tolling cigarettes in the kitchen as well not washing his hands after smoking them. He was very rude and often smelled of weed and he constantly flirted with my wife and made her feel uncomfortable. He then kept asking to borrow money and would we want to buy any contraband that he had acquired but always on the pretext of ‘don’t tell mi mah’. The whole family would say one thing to me and something completely different to my wife causing us to have unnecessary arguments until we recorded them doing this. On the whole if you stay there for one or two nights on your own you might be ok but any longer with your partner and you may easily regret it. First appearances aren’t always what they appear to be. And be aware they will talk to other guests about you and to you about other guests. I even recorded a conversation with me and their very drunk son questioning my parentage and using gutter language ending with d££k head

Had a lovely couple of nights here.rita john and Alan really lovely people. Breakfast was really lovely . Room lovely comfortable and very clean Very close to beach, town. Would highly recommended .will definitely stay again

Rita,John and Alan bend over backwards for you.you couldn't meet nicer people.all rooms are spotlessly clean.we have stayed 3 times now.breakfast is beautiful.i would recommend it to anybody.thankyou for a lovely warm welcome as usual.see you all again soon xx

It is a great bed and breakfast as well as very nice n tasty breakfast too

This looks like a family run business and the owners are very nice and welcoming, the rooms are clean, shower rooms are clean and there is a large kitchen you can use ☺

The whole family are weird they talk about you and cause you unnecessary bother

Absolutely gorgeous couple and a cozy little bnb ryt on the sea front.. great breakfast would definitely go back they looked after me brilliantly ♡
