Wow, totally lovely place, peaceful setting... Nice, welcome (personal name on a board). Enough facilities (washroom, toilet, wooden fire, cooking area) for your stay.. Blue the horse brings you your breakfast down from the farm that you cook yourself. For me personally, if there was a 6 star, I would award it to Red Rose. Can't wait for my next stay.

An absolutely fantastic place, fabulous and relaxing setting. So peaceful sitting listening to the birds chirping in the trees, the stream trickling while watching the birds feeding at the feeder, the sheep munching on the grass, Mr Thomas the donkey sheltering under a tree while the horses are pulling leaves and branches off the tree to munch on. What more can you want, I could have sat for hours watching and listening...so relaxing! The hospitality was fabulous and attention to detail, even down to the delicious breakfast hamper bought down each morning by Blue.

Liked: Perfect place for a bit of peace & quiet. I had the pitch to myself with nothing but fields & horses around. The farm house is a 5 min walk up the path.

Tip: Check the map pin here on Pitchup, if you just copy-paste the address it won't take you exactly where you need to go.

GREAT amenities and a lovely stream nearby.

Hosts are very friendly - I had a lovely stay and would definitely come again!

Liked: The site was absolutely stunning! The hosts were really friendly and the facilities were well-maintained and had everything we needed. We were very impressed with the beautiful setting and how much space and privacy we had. We were also able to buy firewood from the hosts and were supplied with fire-lighters and kindling for free which was a great bonus. They sell sausages and eggs on site too.

Advice: go to "directions" link on the confirmation email to find the site easily. The postcode doesn't get you all the way there.

Disliked: The only thing that was less than perfect was having to park and carry all our camping equipment down to the site. The hosts lent us a wheelbarrow so it wasn't too much of a challenge and it didn't take away from our fantastic stay.
