Lewis is an excellent guitar teacher. He explains and demonstrates very clearly without overwhelming me with too much detail! I come out of every lesson learning something new and a plan to practice before the next lesson. I feel every time I have a lesson I have definitely improved.

Not only is Lewis a great guitar player but a great teacher as well. Very patient and explains everything as you go along to make learning a lot easier. I started from scratch recently and already confidently going through a load of chords which I expected to take a bit longer!

No matter what your ability is, Lewis will taylor his lessons to suite you, in his easy going way, keeping your interest in learning an instrument which is truly a passion for him. No matter your age, Lewis is able to teach at your level of understanding, I say this as a man in his sixties! As a casual guitar player and gigger of 20 years experience, I decided to try and break out of the pentatonic, study some theory (Maj/min scales, intervals, triads, arpeggios and modes); “up my game” and improvisation. Lewis makes this fun, is happy to help you break down songs, draw the practical learning, and then have jam. I always leave with a little homework to consolidate the lesson, this inevitably opens a few new doors. Highly recommended, and good value. “Old dog, with new tricks ..!”

I work as professional musician which requires me to sing and play guitar. My singing has always been stronger than my “guitaring”… but I have to say, since I started my lessons with Lewis I have gone from strength to strength.
