This just a great shop they wool.crochet cotton any thing to do with sowing materials staff are very friendly and helpfull would very much recommend .wools and crochet cottons are upstairs i think they make up curtains as well but not sure i know they have sowing room upstairs

A friend recommended I come to this shop! So glad I did, I’m just a beginner so not overly sure on what I’m doing, the workers were all polite, even while my little boy was kicking off in the shop, they even held the door open for me to leave!
We will definitely be coming back!

Delivered same day as we were on holiday.
Really helpful with spare parts for my older machine which I could not recall the model of , I emailed pictures, they rang with a price , once paid they popped the part in the post.

Popped into the shop to buy some wool & knitting needles as I'm going to start knitting for the first time. The lady on the till was so very helpful so a big thank you for your kindness & help.

Made our second major purchase from Franklins in the form of a Juki overlocker. Next day delivery was promised and fulfilled. Unfortunately, the machine was faulty. One call to Franklins and the problem was diagnosed with an immediate apology with a promise of a replacement machine to be delivered this week. Fabulous. Customer service as it used to be, no quibbling, no drama, just an immediate solution to a problem. Thank you.Neil. Top man. Top business, I whole heartedly recommend.

What a great place to go to get what you need. I was recommended this place by a friend, as I was looking to get a sewing machine for my 10yr old daughter and had no idea where to start. The guy in the shop was very knowledgeable and had the time to spent with me to help me make my choice. The sewing machine was a great Christmas present. Upon getting the machine I returned with my daughter to get some bits and pieces as she wanted to make a deer. Again met with people that were happy to help. The lady's were great and helpful at making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for customer service and knowledge. We will return.
