Alchemy & I

A lovely experience from start to finish. I was warmly greeted by a vibrant, friendly staff, and then offered some refreshments after I had arrived a little early for my appointment. I sipped on a delicious cappuccino as I waited for my stylist, Dominic, a delightful young man with great expertise, who styled my hair exactly as I wanted it. Alchemy is very modern and trendy without being overpriced and pretentious. Highly recommended.

My first visit to the salon today and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and attentive. Dominic did a wonderful job of platting my hair today. Rebooked again for next week.

First time and have already booked 2 more wash & blow drys! So much more than an adverse salon from the dim lit, soft music & weighted blankets while getting a shampoo. To the cocktails to enjoy while getting your hair styled, puts you in the mood for your event or just gives you that feeling of ‘I deserve this’! Very happy customer x

My Mum and I both visited Alchemy&I for the first time on Friday. Both the stylists were marvellous - Becca did my hair and Dominic did my Mum’s hair. They both took time to understand exactly what we wanted and discussed options and their thoughts. It was a lovely experience and all staff were very polite and friendly. We were just down visiting family and don’t live In Berkhamsted sadly but we will definitely be booking with them again on our next visit. Thank you Becca and Dominic for a wonderful job very well done 😊

I am very impressed by Alchemy & I, offering above and beyond any other salon experience. Every single team member are amazing and very caring during your visit. I love that their sparkling water is actually chilled with fresh lemon or orange slices. Their hair wash room are beds with blankets, a complete spa ambience, with great lighting and music. First time i have never had to deal with neck pain during a wash & treatment. The whole salon is equally a beautiful atmosphere with great music and menu. My stylist Dawn understands my hair journey and is always applying great colour and cut techniques. I trust Dawn and feel in safe hands during my appointments. I look forward to being a life long member.

I visited Alchemy & I recently and I had a wonderful experience with Olivia. Even though Olivia is still in training, you wouldn't know as she showed professionalism and much skill in her work. My hair turned out (amazing!) just how i wanted it to and she was very attentive and ensured that I was well looked after. Dom, who I believe was the senior stylist was there as a support to Olivia and he expressed how well the cut came out. I would like to thank them both for their work and welcoming experience.

Alchemy are my regular hairdressers and Sean does a fabulous job of cutting and colouring my hair.
Yesterday I had a special lunch planned and so I booked an appointment just to have my hair curled. Dominic did a wonderful job - all the staff are so talented! Absolutely my salon of choice!

I absolutely loved my first appointment at Alchemy & I. Zara was amazing and did such a good job! Apprentice Brooke helped and they both nailed it. The colour turned out perfectly and my cut is lush. The whole atmosphere is super lovely and it feels like a treat to spend time in there! Thank you everyone.
