What a lovely experience! Vickie took time to find out exactly what I was looking for - not an easy task - and made helpful suggestions. I had a restyle and colour and was very pleased with the result - and with the price. A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere; i imagine that families would feel at home here.

Absolutely awful, I took my 8 year old here and regret it so much.
We were running a bit late which any parents with autistic children would relate to, when we arrived she was annoyed, stern looks, mean tone ext, i get she was annoyed but she was very rude. my poor boy was not happy at all! I am furious. NOT AUTISM FRIENDLY AND NOT A GOOD PLACE .

Absolutely awful customer service from this individual unfortunately. Bill themselves as an autism friendly place but yet I have 2 autistic boys who I took to get their haircuts (no light task) today, we were running 10 mins late which to be honest isn’t bad considering the anxiety they are trying to overcome to get through the door. My 14 year old autistic and adhd son messaged the lady to let her know. When we got there she said she could only do one of them which was fair enough but then continued to be so rude and so stoney faced about it that my seven year old autistic son with acute anxiety disorder ran out of the shop. I followed him but there was no getting him back, he was terrified. I took my other son and left. I then got a message from the same individual saying that I need to consider the impact of what just happened on her small business!!!! Once I got over the shock of that I replied and said that wasnt very autism friendly to which she then went on to say that I shouldn’t hide behind my sons autism. Sigh.
Guys - I gave up trying to reason with this ladies “autism friendliness” and said I will be leaving this review. Maybe she was just having a bad day but her attitude has just made a hard task impossible as I’m sure those with autistic children can understand.
I’m now not sure how I will ever get my 7 year old back into a hairdressers at all. Makes me wonder where all the google Reviews come from?? ….but then the reviews on Yell are a different story!
Think carefully before you go here guys especially if your children struggle to get over their anxieties and out of the door in time. There is little to no understanding or acceptance here unfortunately. Just another disappointment. 🙄

Never, never i will bring my son again to such an unfriendly and rude hairstylist. Any understanding that it is a child and he needs more time to get used to a stranger. 20 min for 2 yo is not enough. I regret I didn’t take him away in the begging 🤬 i’m furious

Took my partner's disabled daughter here; daughter has a complex disability, is largely non verbal and can't sit still for long. Vicky was massively understanding, was quick to understand what we wanted, and gave my partner's daughter a full restyle from long to an asymmetrical short cut in under half an hour. She did a fantastic job and was really good dealing with a fidgety disabled teen. Will be coming here again, very highly recommended.

Took my 2yo and 8yo children. She was super patient with both, and also come out with really good hair cuts. Highly recommend.

The only place I’ll ever take my kids to get their hair cut. They love the duplo, the camper van, the choice of superhero, frozen etc capes - it’s basically a kid’s paradise (and they leave looking one million times less scruffy then when they go in!).

Went in for a Total Restyle, with Vicki, who was very helpful by listening to my vision and knew how to achieve that. Very relaxed atmosphere, Vicki was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Highly recommend visiting the Tiny Penguin.
