Louise Baldwin hairdressing

Louise and her salon is such a welcoming and relaxed place to be in. Louise is incredibly skilled in hairdressing and in particular . I love her honesty about what she can and can’t achieve. She can transform hair beyond most peoples expectations. I would never have my hair touched by anyone else now, my extensions last for ages and with the same quality as when first put in. The hours spent with her are a pleasure. The aftercare is great, you can contact her whenever you have a question and she will do anything to help.

As for the comment I’ve just seen below about racism, I’m not sure we are reviewing the same person. And I can only assume this review is written out of spite, the timing of it being such early morning! someone has clearly just woke up and decided to post it. Suggesting it is quite an unfair and damaging statement. The content seems quite contradictory. A good hair dresser but is racist. I don’t think anyone that has a racist tone would make a good hair dresser..... And the people who are saying Louise makes her feel uncomfortable, vanity seems to be more important than morals and values if they keep going back!

So where to begin with this absolute gem ! Iv been a customer of the salon / barbers since it had opened. Lou, Paul and the whole team are absolutely fantastic. The service is second to none and the whole experience is very tailored. The team makes heaps of effort and always get it bang on what you ask for. One thing Iv always been nervous about when going to a new barbers is will they do a good job ? Well Iv never been happier and more pleased with the cut and how professional the team are ! There was no awkward conversation or silence, everyone is so down to earth and makes real effort not just to cut your hair but too make sure your comfy and happy. Iv even witnessed Paul the barber get a client lunch as they were in a rush ! Without doubt the best salon/ barbers I have ever been too and I travel here every week just so I can have a good natter and have the best to work on my mop. Lou is extremely welcoming and will always find time, fitting me in at 21:00 before this woman is an absolute trooper ! So again just want to thank the salon/barbers for making it such a pleasure ! And that’s why it gets 5 * from me

I'm so happy for Louise to be spreading her wings & setting up in her own salon, something I think she could've done a long time ago 😊 she makes everyone feel at ease & creates a fantastic friendly atmosphere, which is why she has such a great reputation & has a good clientele that keep on going back ........I for one will NEVER let anyone else loose with my hair unless it's by the lovely Paul

I’ve known Louise and the team for many years, and I can honestly say me and my teenage daughter adore Louise and the team, We’re both Asian and we have Asian hair we only trust Louise and the team to cut and style our hair and we are very particular about who we trust. I used to have alopecia because of Louise I got my hair back and my confidence has grown. Louise has seen both my children grow up-she’s part of our family I’ve also been witness to her starting married life and becoming a mum and I feel so lucky to have Louise and the team as part of our life’s! Lastly can I add Louise is certainly not a racist, I cannot believe someone would insinuated this-this is absolutely 100% false. I hope the person who made this vile accusation is caught, I can’t wait to get my hair styled with my daughter-I won’t go anywhere else!!

Been coming to Lou for years now and I honestly wouldn’t have anyone else do my hair. Lou makes you feel completely at home. She’s just incredible at what she does! Not only do you come out the shop with beautiful fresh hair you count on Lou for a good catch up and cuppa tea. Amazing service.

The coolest spot to come and get your hair styled. The atmosphere is cosy and friendly. Lou and her team really make you feel welcome and Paul is the best in town hands down when it comes to men's hairstyles and barbering. Highly recommend this place!

Great salon great atmosphere Paul did a fantastic job on my hair local to my area all the staff very friendly and welcoming and the young girl makes a fantastic cup of tea whilst you wait what more could you ask for will definitely be back again in the future

First time having my hair done here. Did exactly what I wanted. This will be my new hairdressers. 🙂
